After getting back from Japan a few weeks ago, I've been finding it hard to find Japanese food that satisfies me! Although this restaurant is on the pricey side and you could definitely find cheaper, the quality is excellent. The fish is extremely fresh and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is great. I would recommend making up your own bento box for 18 dollars. You can choose your three sections of your bento box out of a list of options and includes a salad. Great lunch for under $20!

Grace & Willow was exactly what Williamstown needed. A fresh, new clothing boutique for young women. Before this store opened, there weren't many places to shop for new fashion pieces. I love visiting the store to check out the newest clothes, shoes and accesories. Some of the labels the store carries are Cameo, Bec and Bridge, White Suede and Camilla and Marc. The girls that own the store are sisters and are so helpful and friendly. They're always happy to help find the perfect outfit for whatever occasion. A must visit if you're in Williamstown!

I would highly recommend booking a table in advance, as Laksa King is always packed! I have heard people complain about being 'rushed' through their dining experience, but I don't agree. The service is prompt and attentive and you wouldn't believe how little time you have to wait for your meals in such a busy restaurant! If you want to go somewhere to converse and relax over a bottle of wine for hours, this is not the place for you. The turn-over of customers is high as there is constantly a line of people waiting to be seated. The Laksa King is the place to go for cheap, amazing and tasty food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is vibrant and buzzing. I would highly recommend the combination laksa and the peking duck. I love Laksa King!

I had a good experience at Nosh, when having breakfast. Its a cute, relaxed and comfortable place. I would have liked to see a little more variety on the menu, but I couldn't fault the food or service. Great place to go for breakfast!

Went to La Roche for the first time last night and was great! Their monday special included the Surf and Turf for $17.50. (Usually $30) Both me and my partner had this and it was awesome! Big serving size, lots of chips and salad, with amazing succulent prawns in garlic sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself, is cool and has a great relaxed vibe. The place was packed, but the service was still prompt and we didnt wait long for our food. Would highly recommend!

I work in the area and occasionally order my lunch from here. They are always very efficient, I never have to wait long at all, which is good when you're on a lunch break!! I used to work in the store next door, and they would deliver me my food, which I think is a great customer service touch. Everyone who works there is really lovely and friendly. My favourite food here, is the Pad Thai and the fried rice. Okay value, but very generous meal sizes. Would recommend when you're in the mood for some quick asian food!

I visit Martines for regular spray tans and shellac nail treatment.
I visited many places for spray tans, before finding the perfect tan at Martines. It's the perfect colour and works really well with my skin. The salon is lovely and calming, always smells nice! All the girls there are extremely competent and friendly. Always a good experience. There are a lot of beauty salons in Williamstown, Martines is definitely one of the best!

If you're after ice-cream or gelato in Williamstown, I would recommend IScream. Great variety of flavours- some unusual ones and good value. All are made on site, so they're always fresh and flavourful. My favourites are the strawberry and bubblegum!

I've lived in Williamstown for 21 years and to anyone wanting ice-cream in Willy, I would say there are better places. Each time I have been here, its been average, nice but nothing special! My latest visit, I was waiting to be served (there was nobody else in the shop) and the two young girls working there were gossiping in the corner, completely ignoring me. I walked out without buying anything because I was outraged by the service. Great ice cream, lots of variety, but they need to step up their manners and customer service.

As a Williamstown local, I would recommend The Groove Lounge. It is probably one of the best restaurants along Nelson Place. Great location, with outdoor seating (great for a warm day). The service is a bit hit and miss, but the food is generous and tasty. The menu boasts great variety and theres always something to please everyone! Since The Groove Lounge was renovated, it now has a cool, stylish vibe, much better than the previous decor. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner.
