Poor speeds, inconsistent excuses from staff in the Philippines who lie and deny problems. Everything is an excuse, just 2 Mpbs are acceptable to them... run away, they are terrible! Do not trust or rely on TPG!

I hate to hop on the negative bandwagon .... but.......
After being a customer for over 5 years, at the end they treated me like a number!
We had ADSL and Mobile phones with them, a few years ago the phones were a great deal so we put up with average internet, but now other companies have caught up.
As I was moving house I stuck with them for a while longer, when I finally called to close my account, I was asked upteen times about transferring the service, no matter how often I told them that's not possible, they didn't seem to hear me. They charged me extra to leave them because I was 6 days under a 30 day notice!
When I shared I was a long term client etc etc - no leeway, no - thanks for all the long relationship , no - we understand. It was - we have to charge the 6 day 50% value of your monthly fee charge.
NB I did search the site for the leaving details, not found - it was buried under forms. They said read your terms we sent you.... what like 5 years ago?!
Overall I put up with frequent slow connections, poor customer service and general below par technology.
They were always quick to take addons or upgrades, but slow and difficult to offer services/changes that a client may need.
I am so glad to be leaving. The feedback for TPG and now IINET (which they bought) just drops and drops.
AVOID them at all costs - learn from my mistakes!

Terrible company. Internet is always slow or down and when you decide to change providers they give you a cooling off period of 30 days. Well thats false cause when my elderly mum changed to bigpond tpg offered the 30days and cut her off with 30second of the phone call ending. They cut off to the point she cant even call emergency services which is illegal here in Australia so today being march 27 2017 we are seeking legal action against tpg. We had to even go up to the bank and cancel the direct debt cause these [redacted swear word] still continued to take money from here account when she owed them nothing. My advice to anyone would be to stay clear from tpg yes they are cheap but when you pay cheap you get nothing.

Terrible service. Would not recommend it to anyone. Please don't go with this company. Called many times and management will bot call back to solve problem.

horrible provider customer service is nil don't ever spend a single cent to this call so called customer service has to wait for 1/2 hour till get answered and the attitude and the exact words from the operator was if you don't like you can find some one else
never again

The worst operator ever. I will put review everywhere and will let all my friends and family know how awful TPG is, they charged me 2 months after transferring my prepaid to another operator and over 5 times calling and each time telling me it's going to be refunded in 3 days, they haven't been refunded it yet. Shame

The absolute worst customer service we ever experienced. 5 days now and their offshore support refuse to provide connection or refund the money :( I am amazed that TPG could even do business here. will go through ombudsman to put an end to this [redacted inflammatory comment]

Atempting to get technical service to connect for the first time!!! More than an hour now spoke to 5 people and had to give my name adress and DOB every time. TPG is even worse than [redacted - mentions alternative business by name]. This puts them way down the list for service.

I regret choosing them even before connecting for the first time>

Would not recommend this service. Get better faster streams off dial-up internet. Can't even smoothly stream a music video on youtube on 360P quality. Definitely not worth the $60 per month. And there is a massive cancellation fee so beware when signing up as they trap you in.

We changed to TPGs NBN service and it's the worst experience we have ever had. Its been 4 months now and our service is not working correctly or is intermittent. We pay for 100mbps and get 0.98 mbps...yes not even 1 mbps. When it worked, occasionally we got around 36mbps. STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
