The best vanilla slice ever! I love that they NEVER close! Perfect for a catch up coffee with friends and you will never be kicked out. I always love a good old villi's pasty too!

We had heard about this cafe many times over the years, and of course, the Vilis name is an SA icon, but we had never ventured off of South Road to give it a go before.
That is, until recently, after we had been to a 'show' in the city. Feeling a bit peckish, too early to head home (even though we are 'oldies', or 'the olds', as our kids call us!). Where do you go after midnight, that isnt a nightclub or youngies pub? Lets try that Vilis cafe, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Well, it was packed (with lots of young people, as well, by the way!). And the pastries are just what we were looking for as a late-night 'naughty' treat. Of course, we could have had a healthy sandwich or roll, but not this time, thanks!
Really nice spot, vibrant, with fresh food (how much fresher could it be when its next door to the bakery?).
Can't believe we hadn't tried it before, but will certainly return (and sorry to our young neice, who was surprised, maybe horrified, to see her country aunt and uncle walk into the Vilis Cafe while she was 'out on the town' with her friends).

I was such a regular here when I lived in Adelaide in my younger years. Went back recently and was not disappointed. Vili's still make the best pies and the food was fresh. It doesn't matter what time of the day(or night) you go, there is always a consistency with both food and service. One of the best business ideas I have heard of and so easy to get quick hot food any time. It beats fast food joints every time.

Always open, always serving yummy food! After a late night out, I mean LATE, Vili's is the perfect place to have something to eat before heading home. 2-3am on weekends you will often find musicians and their friends having a bite and a laugh.

They have both indoor and outdoor areas to eat, so if you have smokers in your group you can always sit outside, or at least not feel guilty if they have to go outside as they have somewhere to sit.

When you're heading home from a dinner party that started at 6, and it's now somehow 2.30, and you're fuzzy headed and peckish again, Cafe de Vili's is open! It's open 24/7 and does the best, tastiest chips and gravy.

Because everything is baked on the premises, the pies and pasties are super fresh. If you're working in the area, it's a fantastic place for a quick, cheap, fairly healthy lunch.

An Adelaide Icon!

The best thing is they are open 24/7! They have some of the best chips in Adelaide and the snitzels are large. Dont try the honey or lemon chicken it made me sick and tasted and looked like it came from a can!

This is a great place to eat if you are looking for a well priced quick meal. The cafe is next door to Vili's bakery and there are savoury and sweet items to take away or eat in. There is a comprehensive menu also available. I usually have the gluten free pumpkin soup while my husband indulges. Sometimes take our grandchildren there too. It is always extremely busy and is open 24 hours a day

Opened 24/7 7 days a week. Love this place they have a great variety of pies, pasties & sausage rools. Also agreat sellection of cakes. Staff are friendly and easy parking in front of the shop or they have a small car park on the side. Meals times it can get very busy.

Open 24/7 and you can eat-in or take-away. When ever I go here it is packed. Even getting a park at times is almost impossible. The staff all cope well considering the number of people they have to serve and get through. You can even get hot beverages there including the bubby-chino.

This place is fantastic and always is busy and has great food. The atmosphere is great and is convenient that it is open 24/7. Any time of the day you can get a donut, which is great!
