Recently found this cafe while driving past with a friend and WOW! This place is great! Not only do they have a huge nursery with lovely plants but they also have a cute shop with organic products and an amazing cafe! Great vegetarian options at very reasonable prices! Loved the vegetarian lasagne! Would recommend everyone to stop for a coffee and a browse :)

Called in here for lunch with my son to have a little "date" together, as we had not been here in a while.
He loves playing outside and the food is always good, great variety to choose from.

My family went here to celebrate my sister's birthday. We rang ahead to book a table and thankfully we did as it was super busy even for a lunchtime on Tuesday. It's not surprising however as this cafe is simply lovely. The grounds are stunning, the views from the balcony down to the lake are delightful and the food is delicious. I had the Chicken Focaccia and it was very filling and yummy. The rest of the party were all equally happy with their meals and quality of the food impressed all. It was on the more expensive side but the quality and taste make this place a great special occasion place. The coffee was also smooth and rich. The staff were friendly and professional. We all agreed we'd definitely would return despite the crowds.

We came here with the family on a special occasion on such a busy weekend but managed to be shown a seat. We were outdoors which was lovely on such a sunny day..not much to choose from the menu but I did choose a lovely salad which was huge..more than enough. my family's choice were nice too..bit on the pricey side..a huge line up to order at counter and was happy to hear my salad was the last one as they ran out..gorgeous setting, lovely lake with ducks..would be nicer to come on a quieter day but not sure if that happens as I can see why it is popular with the gift shop..wow so much stuff.

This café is a nice different experience to dine out with friends as they are a café/nursery. They also have a kids playground and lake so very child friendly. I went on Fathers Day and it was a set menu. The food was delicious but it was extremely noisy with a huge line to order. I think it would be great on a regular weekend though and I look forward to going back when not so busy.

This place has a lovely atmosphere. The cafe is huge! During summer there are a few wasps outside which is a shame. But beside that the meals are delish...though pricy $25. This is a nice place to go for a special occasion. Perfect for kids as if you sit outside they can play on the train and you can watch them. THe nursery is extensive - again a little on the pricy side. The store is full of amazingness, bags, costume jewellery, kids toys, it's a haven for individual gifts

Nice place to have breakfast / brunch and then walk around around and browse the nursery. I didn't take my kids but there was a wooden train to play on in the outdoor section of the cafe, which I thought was a great idea.

These guys have got the formula right - there is a large covered outdoor eating area, tables out in the garden and tables inside in the air conditioning.
The food is good too, and lots to choose from.
Just be aware that the access is a little difficult - through the shop to the outside then a couple of steep sections to negotiate. Not the place for granny with her wheeler.
The toilets are outside - they would do well to make them a bit easier to get to.
Overall, it is a lovely place for breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake.

I always take my mum here for mothers day, its in a great location, and the quality of the meals, especially the Tapas, are amazing. Understandably a bit more expensive than a normal cafe

I took my cousin to this Nursery when she was out from Qld and we had a light morning tea. It was a bit pricey but lovely just the same for when you want a treat.

We then went for a meander through the extensive gardens and flowers at the nursery. What a lovely spot and very lushes.

Worth a visit even if you just want to buy a plant or a gift from the shop.

Arrived, and when pointed out that our table was one seat short we were quickly moved. The menu was quite limited, however that may be as opening for dinner was currently only a trial. paid $24 for the barramundi fillet, was very nice, but quite a small meal for the price. My partner paid $25 for the spit roast lamb, the lamb was delicious, but it was very expensive, considering it was literally a plate of lamb, no side salad or chips.
kids meals were supposed to be half price, but we were charged full price, althought they happily refunded us the difference when we questioned it.
Train for the kids was a real hit tho, and the views are lovely!

Love going here for a light lunch. Meals are awesome and they're usually pretty well sized. They do a good range of tapas and the atmosphere is always good. The paved area outside is fantastic and showcases what you can do with good landscaping...another service they offer.

Lovely food but a bit expensive and you have to order at the counter. Beautiful nursery and view from the cafe. The two wooden trains outside for children to play in are a great touch. Very busy at times. The iced chai latte is delicious!

I love coming here. I sometimes come for a quick coffee and stroll around the nursery. Staff can be hard to find sometimes, but are always helpful when you do grab them.

We love Warran Glen. We even loved it before the refurbishment. Not only is the nursery really well organised and the staff are always helpful, but the cafe is fabulous too.

Light and tasty meals are offered in a newly renovated cafe at the top of the hill. It's the perfect place to have a piece of cake and coffee with friends, or a light lunch with family for a special occasion, or just because you want to. Just make sure you're not in a rush, because they do take their time.

The surrounding gardens and lake are a lovely complement to the experience. Look out for the big white duck and I have seen a tortoise swimming around once or twice.

The plants aren't necessarily the cheapest going around but we've had a 95% success rate with everything we've bought-the only failure was a Boganvillia that our dog chewed up.

We keep coming back to this place at least once a month, even more when my mum is around, and the service at the cafe is sometimes slow but they are generally very nice about it, if anything goes wrong they do apologize. it is a beautiful place to have lunch, or even just coffee and something from their window selection on desserts.
But the last time we were there, they messed up our order, which like i said has become a regular occurrence, which we didn't mind, but the lady who brought it to our table..an older overweight woman, even before placing the dish down on the table, i tried to clarify that this wasnt what id asked for, and she went off on a roll, saying that now she cant serve this plate to anyone else in a very irritated tone, she must have repeated that statement about 5 times before taking a breath to listen to us.
AND once she went to check with the waitress that took our order, she didnt even return to apologize! its too bad its a beautful place, just try to make sure you dont get served by this old woman.

We have given this a 'go' on several occasions because it is such a beautiful setting and the ambiance is excellent. Unfortunately the food and service do not live up to the standard of the nursery and surrounds. The food is very ordinary, often over cooked or , worse, raw ( in the case of lamb kebabs, tough as old shoes). Prices are pretty high for what you get and the waitresses can be described as surly if you are being kind! They are not child friendly, either and there is a long wait to be served even basic food. Visit the nursery, it is lovely, but give the caff a miss and eat down the road at one of the other places warrandyte is known for.

What a beautiful experience - walk through the gorgeous nursery and gift shop over water under the bridge to outdoor as well as enclosed eating areas. Sit in the sunshine with the family and watch the ducks and the beautiful scenery from an elevated vantage point while eating delights like smoked salmon bagels or fruit bread with homemade raspberry jam.

Went for lunch during the school holidays, A great cafe the food was delicious and a great childrens menu with the option of paying extra and getting a fruit juice, a smarties cookie and a bag of duck pellets- this of course was a big hit. My child had instructions to finish her meal before feeding the ducks and she ate everything on her plate in record time. A very relaxing enviroment

The Warren Glen nursery has beautiful surroundings. The gardens are magnificent to walk through and the water features add an extra sense of tranqulity to the atmosphere. The cafe is quite a lovely spot and it is lovely and peaceful to look out over the water below. The gift shop at the front has some great stuff...and some of it is not easily obtained anywhere else.

I have been pricing water features for 2 years at various locations. At warren Glen I found the staff to be very informative and very willing to explore various options. Compared to others I've spoken to they appear to really know what they are talking about. There approach gave me all the information I required but were also willing to identify and explore (appropriately) possible issues that maybe encountered which actually menat I would ultimately spend less. They were able to provide info for the whole project. Nothing spent thusfar.

But in their Cafe I have enjoyed a relaxing lunch. Their But in their café I have enjoyed many a relaxing lunch. The café overlooks garden and a pond with ducks – delightful. I’ve tried their foccasia and Chicken Caesar Salad which is good, and breakfast on the balcony if a great way to start the day. The hardest part is choosing what to each from the varied and enticing menu.

The most beautiful surroundings for a lazy and sunny afternoon - be sure to book a table on the balcony though, we missed out for lack of fore-thought. You have to walk across a bridge over a river to get to the cafe and it's just beautiful. Don't know what the main meals are like, we just did coffee and faccacias, but what we had was really good.

Have been to Warran Glen Nursery many times...and surprisingly its not for the vast array of plants!! Instead, it is scones and hot chocolates in the sun, on the balcony of their cafe. The cafe over recent times has gotten busier and busier, expanding outside into a lovely court yard. Lunch menu is now quite extensive, but the just because the business has expanded has not meant that quality has decreased. Friendly service in an ideal location. I recently even had a quiet Hens Party here which was perfect, with catering available for large groups, and now a licensed bar. However, in Summer there is some problems with bees...all adds to the character.

This cafe is situated in a nursery and overlooks the gardens and a pond where ducks can be seen swimming around. The setting is very relaxing. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating to cater for the weather. As it was cold we were seated inside but with a view over the gardens. There was a variety of food to choose from as well as the specials board. The service was good and the staff very friendly.

The cafe at Warran Glen Nursery is a delicious surprise on top of the hill overlooking the lake and ducks and nursery proper. We have had many good lunches and weekend breakfasts here and always foudn the food fresh and tasty. It can get fairly frantic on weekends, so suggest you book ahead if want a particular table inside or outside.
