Joining this gym was a massive disappointment. It was quite grubby and I got sick of people not using towels on the equipment. Staff didn’t care. Plus the equipment in the female gym is limited.

Staff did so many things wrong - told me if I wanted to cancel I just had to let them know, they didn’t give me a copy of the rules and regulations of the gym or a signed copy of my contract. They then wouldn’t accept my cancellation in writing which is allowed by fair trading. But nobody told me they would just keep debiting by bank account beyond the necessary cancellation notice of 30 days. I had to get my bank to stop it.

I am now being harassed by their direct debit company with threats of debt collectors. They try to enforce terms in contracts that their members are not given a copy of. Gym management can stop the harassment but they prefer to allow it to occur.

Bad form Lifestyle Health Club Redbank Plains. Treating people with respect obviously is not a priority.
