This review is for Soprano's Pizza, Mosman NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2014

Sopranos has been in Mosman for many years and has served pizza and pasta to the local community.

The food is good and the service is great.

I always have the Capricciosa pizza and it comes out perfectly, they also offer gluten free pizza bases now which is great for those who require that option.

Prices are reasonable especially for Mosman and parking is never an issue.

This review is for Three Beans Espresso, Chatswood NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2014

Three Beans was once a wonderful establishment serving great coffee and excellent savoury and sweet options. However it is now another run of the mill coffee shop serving mediocre coffee and pretty ordinary food.

My wife and I went for breakfast before a day of shopping, I ordered a juice which came our warm, i asked for ice to which they replied they dont have any, i said i didnt want the juice anymore but because it was open i couldnt return it. I asked why it was warm and they said their fridge wasnt working, a slight concern with our meals coming out.

The bacon and egg roll was terrible, extremely fatty bacon made it nearly inedible and the bread was stale.

My wife said her coffee was ok but nothing special.

I wouldnt recommend this place.

This review is for Thai Naan Restaurant, Chatswood NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2014

Thai Naan is located on the quieter end of Victoria Avenue Chatswood and serves authentic Thai dishes.

The restaurant has two floors which means you can almost always get a seat which is great, however they do offer takeaway as well.

I am a huge fan of their BBQ Beef as well as their satay chicken skewers and curry puffs to start.

Service can be somewhat hit and miss, we generally have had an acceptable experience however it can be hard to get the attention of staff especially when busy.

Parking is ample in this area.

This review is for Chefs, Roseville NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2014

Chefs serves some fantastic lebanese cuisine with a focus on charcol chicken.

This family run business has brought new life into the local area and I have to say they serve some of the best chips I have ever had.

The dips and salads are awesome accompaniments especially the Fattoush and Hommos.

Try their mixed skewer plate so you get a bit of everything they have to offer.

They also have banquets available for 4+ people which work out at good value when in a group.

Plenty of parking available in car park at rear of business.

Great for takeaway as well.

This review is for Peacock Gardens Chinese Restaurant, Crows Nest NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2014

Peacock Gardens have been in Crows Nest since the 70's service some of the best chinese on the north shore of Sydney.

The restaurant prides itself on its great quality of food and its exceptional service standard, the staff will look after you very well and you do get that sense of pride in their staff.

The food is fantastic, Sang Choy Bow, Sizzling Fillet Steak and Sweet and Sour Pork and some of the best but you really cant go wrong no matter what you order.

Parking in Crows Nest is fine as they do have a council car park near the restaurant.

Prices here are relatively high but you dont mind paying for quality and thats exactly what you get here.

This review is for The Greens North Sydney, North Sydney NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2014

The Greens North Sydney officially opened in November, 2014 after a revamping of the Norths Bowlo Bowling Club.

The Greens has been designed as a laid backfood and drink precinct focusing on organic produce (some of which is grown on site in their veggie garden and supplied by some animals such as chickens).

Head Chef Lilly Fasan has constructed a great menu and the beverage team have built an awesome cocktail menu as well as service standard.

The venue is absolutely packed and takes no reservations so if you plan to visit make sure you get in earlier than anticipated to secure some seating.

The club still has 2 and a half bowling greens and is the perfect place for all of your events including any bowling events.

Parking is also somewhat limited however they do run a shuttle bus for those in the local area.

New Years Eve is on sale and will sell out fast.

This review is for Eighty Eight, Crows Nest NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2014

Eighty Ate is open for Breakfast and Lunch and everytime I have been regardless of day of week or time of day this place has been pumping.

The menu is extensive so you are always satisfied with choice.

The bacon and egg roll is my favourite and definitely grab a milkshake.

Plenty of parking around the area and the staff are always willing to above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

This review is for Dose Espresso, Willoughby NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2014

Dose Espresso has become the go to place for the best coffee in Willoughby. Decked out with cool, organic decor and serviced with vibrant, young staff every visit to Dose is a great one.

The coffee is always top notch and their menu may be limited but it has something to suit everyone.

I actually just tend to order their wholemeal crumpets with nutella which are awesome and my wife goes for the smashed avocado on organic toast.

Parking around the area is ample, the only thing with this place is its limited space and seating due to its constrained location.

Definitely give this place a go when you are in the area.

This review is for Sergeant's Mess, Mosman NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2014

Sergeant's Mess was where we had our wedding reception in 2011 and to this day our guests are still talking about it.

The venue offers exceptional food and expansive views of the water. There is plenty of parking for your guests and what more you get the entire venue to yourself.

If you are looking at a function venue I strongly recommend you check this place out. What is great is also the opportunity to have wedding photos taken around the venues surroundings as Chowder Bay houses some stunning old cottages.

The perfect Event deserves The Perfect Venue.

This review is for Burnt Orange, Mosman NSW

verified email - 30 Nov 2014

Burnt Orange in located in the picturesque Chowder Bay region of Mosman surrounded by beautiful wildlife and extensive views of the water.

Burnt Orange has plenty of parking and does wonderful breakfasts and lunches as well as afternoon tea.

I have had lunch a couple of times and I cant go past the Chicken Salad or Linguini with blue swimmer crab.

The produce is fresh and the service is great.

Burnt Orange also has a store alongside the cafe which sells lots of quirky items and clothing.

A great place for a relaxing meal.
