I have been to amy for years now and have recommended all my friends to go there and they have loved the place, diamond dogs is the only place my baby can get his hair cut and not be withdrawn afer the clipping, my baby is eaer to get then and is always so happy to see amy, highly recommended

The oakleigh library is such a great place to bring the children so many activities, reading singing and the staff are so friendly it is one of the best libraries i have been to

Simbar have some very nice music and lives bands playing there but the drinks and meals are rather pricey and portion size is not the best. watched them pouring a mixed drink and they do something very strange, maybe it was just a large measure not sure but has me wondering

update : simbar have improved immensely since my last visit and have some great music there on sundays

love shopping at aldi, goin in to check out what deals and specials they have, unfortunately it can get very busy in there so unless you go first thing in the morning the queue can be rather long

another favorite, caravan club is inside the rsl and is a very friendly atmosphere with great bar prices(possibly cheapest in melb) the bands playing there ae great but you may need to book them / pre purchase tickets. the favorite bands do sell out very quickly

whent to the leighoak for the first time ever and a bit disappointed, there is a 2 tiered pricing one for members and one for non members, i dont think it was a rsl so cannot understand the need to tiered pricing, secondly the price of the drinks was very high in comparision to the local rsl and lastly felt the menu variety was very ordinary. went there with great expections but came away disappointed.

One of my favorite places in oakeligh to have a coffee in the morning or with my girlfriends, after a couple of visits the staff take the time to know your favorite drink, what cakes you like as well as asking and remembering you name.. Hint - try the baklava it is just sooo delicious
