This is a lovely nursery to buy from - they have plenty of variety with natives and ornamentals, and the staff are very knowledgeable. They also have a huge range of roses and bare rooted trees during the right seasons. The only downside is that it can be a little fiddly to pay if you have a fair few items in your trolley, as the trolleys don't really fit inside the door to the register.
We've been with EnergyAustralia for a few years after switching from Origin. I much preferred when they were Tru Energy, we had so few problems back then!
Now, we're struggling to be given the correct pay-on-time discount every quarter, we're constantly being told we're in the red for the discount we should have received etc... constant phone calls are not resolving these issues, so we're planning to change again, although I don't know if there really are any true, fair energy companies out there these days.
We ate here while staying at the Bellevue motel, and to be honest, we were pretty disappointed. The service was fine, and the decor and view were lovely, but the food was TINY, and just OK. I understand it's a nicer restaurant, but I expect to be satiated having consumed an entree, main and dessert. But instead we had to walk down the street afterward to find more food, which, after paying $150+ isn't something I enjoyed.
My husband and I stayed here recently thanks to an accommodation voucher we purchased from OurDeal. The motel was really lovely - the rooms were well furnished and equipped, and very clean. We made great use of the indoor pool and spa, and hubby used their private pier for a spot of fishing. The customer service at the front desk was wonderful, and breaky definitely hit the spot every day. It's in a great spot - right on the water, and close enough to walk into the town.
They have a wonderful range of bakery items - my husband absolutely loves their meat pies (get in quick on the weekends though, don't wait until lunch time!) and their bread is fantastic. Slightly more expensive than you'll pay in town, however.
Poppies is an award winning florist, and you can tell why! Their arranged flowers are just amazing, and their service is fab too. They also have a wide range of flower bunches, single stems etc. I normally buy a bunch every week or two for the table at home. They also sell craft / jewellery items, and some cute little garden ornaments!
I purchase all of my lamb and calf milk products at B&S, and they're wonderful to deal with. Great, friendly customer service, and they always have what we need in stock. The drive-through bay is really handy when buying large items. You can set up an account too, if you're a frequent shopper.
I've purchased a fair few things from OurDeal, and I've been happy 99% of the time. We mainly use it to nab accommodation or restaurant deals, and we've only had one bad restaurant experience using an OurDeal voucher. Luckily I've never had a problem with stores/places not following through with the deal, so I've never tried their refund process.
The emails from them can get a bit overwhelming though, so now I try to just check on the site every once in a while to see if anything takes my fancy. And don't forget, like anything, it's always good to do your research online beforehand - make sure that restaurant or hotel has decent feedback elsewhere... sometimes there is a reason why they're offering such cheap deals!!
I love WOMO, don't get me wrong, but is anyone else disappointed in the recent changes to the WOMO rules? No longer receiving points for being the first to review a business, needing more points to redeem, points now having an expiry date. The expiry date of points isn't a good thing, IMO, because it forces you to post more reviews to reach that 3000 mark (and I don't see anywhere that actually tells you when your points are about to expire?), so you might see an influx of phony reviews from people struggling to hit the redemption mark before their points expire.
We recently returned here after nearly six months, and we were impressed with the improvements. It did take a little bit to get the waiter's attention, and our friends were left waiting quite a while for a kid's sundae, but other than that I couldn't fault them. The food was incredible (the lamb shanks, oh my goodness!). We visited on a Saturday night and the place was packed, so best to book ahead. I absolutely love the work they've done to the outside of the building too.
