The food here is definitely improving - we ordered from them last night and it was definitely more flavoursome than it has been in the past. The satay chicken with veggies is one of my favourites, plus the Malaysian satay chicken skewer entree (see a pattern?). The fried rice is pretty bland, but we prefer plain boiled rice. Fairly pricy, but food is always ready very quickly. Even though it's also a restaurant, I've never seen anyone eat in - they seem to primarily do take away.

We ate here last night using our first Entertainment Book voucher - we were really impressed with the meals, they were large portions and well presented (love the Mexican flag colours in the food!) My husband had the burrito, and I had the tosdado grande, which was delish. I was a little unimpressed with the churros for dessert - they were very crunchy and I would have preferred melted chocolate dipping sauce instead of choc topping, but other than that - no complaints! We'd definitely return.

I used Vistaprint a lot for our wedding stationery. Our most recent order was for our thank you cards, using a custom photo we had done with our photographer.

I ordered late on the Monday evening, it was in the post Tuesday morning and arrived Wednesday morning - I was shocked!! They're absolutely perfect, and I love how they can be printed on recycled cardstock.

The only strange thing I found this time was the long delay in receiving email notifications - I'd already received my order by the time my "Your order has been received" email arrived!!

I recently attended an Arbonne skincare and makeup party at a friend's house.

The consultant seemed knowledgeable about the products, but she did make a few odd comments that I'm not sure were 100% factual.

The skincare products seemed great, and I love that they're all natural, but I found some of them way too harsh for my skin, which surprised me as I thought 100% botanical based products couldn't be so harsh. Myself and another girl came out in a rash from one of the creams, and it took almost a week for it to subside.

The makeup looked amazing though - one of the girls received a makeover using their products, and her skin looked absolutely flawless. We all tested the primer, which was the silkiest thing I've ever tried! So much nicer than the primer I use.

I would be very interested in purchasing the primer, and some of the makeup, but I found the skincare quite expensive considering you can buy other vegan ranges for much less.

We recently ordered take away from Bamboo and Lily, and it was absolutely delicious. Generous sizes, reasonably priced, extensive menu. The hardest part was finding a parking spot nearby so we could duck in and pick our food up!

We recently had two snakes sexed with Dr Sally Adams here - she was very friendly, and handled the snakes well considering one was a bit grumpy while shedding. We had only made the appointment for one snake, but she said to bring in two and only charged us the single consult fee, which was great!

There was a bit of a wait for our appointment, which is fine for warm-blooded animals but snakes need to a heat source be kept warm so they had to sit on our laps.

We did have a nearly two week wait for our appointment as we required an after-hours timeslot.

This is our "regular", and it's a great pub. We much prefer what the new owners have done with the place - opening for meals on Mondays, taken down all the ridiculous Grid Iron posters from the walls, etc.

Bar meals are reasonably priced (~$16 for a parmi) and are HUGE. I had the lasagne recently, and it was the size of a house brick! And nothing beats the Banno Pub's salad dressing. Absolutely delish. Parmi nights are Tues and Wed, Steak night Thurs.

Meals come out very quickly on weeknights, a bit slower on Friday and Saturday nights (to be expected). The bistro is sometimes a bit noisy, and usually jam packed.

Wonderful service from their online store - ordered a pair of very competitively priced hand shears, and it came with a free shearer's singlet, keyring and magnet. All sent Platinum Express post with tracking, and plenty of emails to keep me informed of the ordering progress. They have a huge range of shearing supplies - if only I had more sheep!

I have been using PureProfile for years now - it is the only survey/rewards website I've stuck with, and over than time I've made 18 redemptions of between $25 and $50.

I love the simplicity of the website, the frequency of the surveys, the email notifications are timed well for me (and not too frequent), and the redemption process is painless - and who doesn't love cash deposited into your bank account!!

It can take you a fair while to accrue enough money to redeem - I usually earn between $25 and $50 every two months, depending if I was eligible for some of the longer surveys.

I was recommended HRKAC (in particular, a chap called Shane there) by a workmate, and it has been the greatest recommendation ever.

I always used to DIY my short tax return, receiving less than $70 every year back due to my employer taxing correctly. I finally bit the bullet and had it done professionally, and couldn't be happier - Shane was so friendly and knowledgeable, and gave me a list of everything I should keep throughout the year to claim at tax time. I definitely got a whole lot more than $70 back too!

I have since referred my partner, another colleague and some friends onto Shane, and they've all loved him, and have received sizable returns too! They also offer superannuation advice and financial planning.
