We arrived on a Saturday night approx 7pm with no booking & they found a table for 8 of us with no booking in around 5 mins.
Steaks were beautiful, disappointing that there was only salad as vegetarian options. Would be nice to have 1 or 2 main meals.
Prices were very good.
Ordering was quick & food did not take overly long to arrive considering how busy it was.
Slushies were a big hit with those who were drinking.
Alos noticed a kids video game room up the back. Great idea.
Would definitely go there again.

Reef tour was fantastic and staff were lovely.
Before we even left the marina staff warned of high winds that could induce travel sickness. Travel sickness medication was available to purchase at $3 (or the ginger tablets were free).
It took approx 45 mins to get to Fitzroy Island, then a further 45 mins to get to the reef.
With the choppy weather there were many people seasick, staff handled this excellently. They were constantly walking around with sick bags and offering ice to people who had been sick.
Snorkeling was free but wetsuits were not included, they were $10 to hire. Bring a towel because to buy one on board was $30!
Other free activities were a glass bottom boat ride & semi-submersible boat ride to view the reef. Both were good & informative. Avoid the semi-sub if you get sea sick.
They also had a touch tank at the end of the day were you could view & touch creatures, and a fish feeding session.
And optional extra was Seawalking, A brilliant activity. Cost was $145 but worth every cent. We got to walk with a special helmet under the platform 3 meters down in all the fish & reef. We also met the big Grouper fish Wally.
All the staff were very knowledgeable and were happy to answer lots of questions.
Lunch was buffet style with plenty of options, & fresh fruit.
I would highly recommend this tour and would advise taking a waterproof camera .

Beautiful hotel.
Rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious.
We had 8 people over 4 rooms.
The hotel bar was very good, we stopped there on multiple occasions over the 4 days we stayed.
Staff were happy to call taxi's at any time needed and the hotel was in walking distance to the Esplanade & Marina.
Vie Spa was very good, along they had a bit of an ant problem in the waiting area around the water/tea.
Only real issue was when picking up room keys staff did not tell me what floor my room was on or that you needed the room key to operate the lift (or how to do this).

We stayed in Cairns over the weekend & had breakfast at Bang & Grind twice as they were 1 street from the hotel we stayed in.
Meals were very generous for the price, and food was nice. Coffee was great too.
Service was a bit slow on the Sunday morning, Monday morning was fast friendly service.
Bonus points for having a nice Vegetarian option too

Brilliant market. Very large market running through the Tanks Art Centre at the Botanical gardens.
Lots of variety and nice to be able to find things for boys. And great too see no party plans stalls at all.
Found some wonderful designers I hadn't heard of before.
Prices were very reasonable.
Food & drink was available at various stalls.

We stayed in Ballarat 3 nights for a family holiday & this was our base while we went off to do all the tourist thing.

Great location, out of town but no far from anything we wanted to visit. There is a small shopping centre across the road which contains a Woolworths, McDonalds, fruit & veg shop, chemist etc

Staff were very friendly and walked us to our cabin to show us everything. They gave us a map and went through it marking out all the must see places in the area.

The kids loved the play areas. There's is a small toddler area, a bigger play ground, jumping pillow, under cover sandpit & an undercover lights game (which the kids really enjoyed)

When we stayed there (school holiday period) the were running movies with free popcorn every night at 7.30. A kids club from 5.30-6.30pm every night and chicken feeding every morning at 10am.

The also have an indoor heated pool & gokarts to hire. both of which we didn't use on our stay.

Cabin was relatively clean & had only minor issues (powercord on electric blanket falling apart). Would happily stay there again but will try a bigger cabin next time

The tram museum did not have a lot in in but was free entry and you could get inside each tram.
The tram ride was fantastic. $4 for adults & $2 for kids.
Staff were very friendly & informative. The kids enjoyed getting out to watch the tram be switched to run back the other way and the staff explained the process to them.

Fantastic day out. Our tickets were stamped when we went in so we could come back the next day for free, which we did. Even going 2 days in a row we didn't see everything.
Coach ride prices & Mine tour prices were very reasonable.
Lots of informative displays and lots of things to do.
Kids loved the candles dipping and watching the wagon wheel making.
Children under 5 are free entry. They are also free on the mine tours & coach ride.
We ate at the New York Bakery in Main Street for lunch which was also lovely.

Fantastic experience. Amazing food. Staff were brilliant. The kids shared a meal & staff bought out a second plate for them without having to ask.
