I have only tried their pizza - so this review is based on that. Love the pizza - good service, a bit on the expensive side but that's what you expect when eating some of the best pizza in Brisbane. They also have limoncelo!! I would eat there again for sure.
I don't know why people rave about this place. It just has nothing going for it? The food is OK but there are better (and cheaper) places to eat in West End. The service certainly doesn't make up for it either. I've been here a few times (only when invited by others) but I would never eat here by choice.
Great place for breaky with the girls. Only down side is that you may have to wait a few minutes for a table but the food and service are both good and reasonable prices too. Will keep going back.
Got a spray tan here and won't go back. When I booked I told them it was a trial for my wedding. Thank GOD I bothered to get a trial because the tan was horrible. My feet came out super black, I had white patches on the inside on my legs and outside of my forearms. Even the bottom of my feet got stained because the towel I had to stand on was saturated with tanning liquid.
To top that off - the girls working there were grumpy, didn't smile and just seemed like they hated their jobs.
Cheap prices, cheap looking results.
Approximate cost: $25
Ottoman cafe hold my current 'number 1 best Turkish in Brisbane' spot. It's gone quiet over the last few years - I'm not sure why though because the food is still delicious and good value.
These lovely ladies saved me the day before my wedding. My usual spray tan salon had ran out of my colour and didn't tell me until I arrived for my tan! I rang Brazilian Beauty and they calmed me down, very kindly squeezed me in and did an amazing job on my tan. It was more than I'm used to paying but it was so worth it. I would recommend them any day.
Only been here once...but will not return. My husband and I ordered 2 mains and bottle of wine. We finished the bottle before the first main came out - and it was cold/luke warm at best. We thought it might have gone cold while the other meal was being cooked...so we decided to wait for the next main to come out before we sent it back for reheating. FIFTEEN minutes later, the second main came out, also cold. What the???? YES - they were both supposed to be hot dishes. We ended up leaving without eating and grabbed subway on the way home.
CONSISTENTLY one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten at. I love turkish food so I gave Ahmet's 3 tries thinking that they would improve... failed every time. No more chances from me. It's a shame because the food is actually good - that is if you get served the dish that you ordered!
Went here with a large group for a birthday. I thought the food was delicious - very authentic - and reasonably priced. $15 jugs of sangria are the selling point for me though!
I like this place. They do the best chilli con carne in a massive bowl that you can't possibly finish eating! Great nachos too. Will definitely keep going back.
