When I worked at west end I always used to frequent this place for lunch. Lovely big sandwhiches made just the way you like. Although it always saddened me that now it was next to traffic lights, instead of a roundabout...

Excellent breakfast but be prepared to wait a little while. Servings are huge and they pump it through fairly quickly. A good morning out in a good part of Brisbane. Lots of shops around that you can have a look at after as well

An authentic Indonesian restauarant owned and operated by Indonesians. Great entrees - try the batagor. I love their fried noodles - mie goreng and the authentic Indonesian drinks hit the spot. Some nights they have live entertainment whicj is very Indonesian - an acquired taste.

When the urge for a freshly made prawn rice paper roll became irresistible, I'd head out from my West End office to Viet Hoa. The price was right, the rice paper rolls satisfied (at least until the next urge hit), and the servce was always prompt. Restaurant is a bit on the plain side but the food is always fresh and served quickly. A great choice for lunch if you're in the neighbourhood.

Slice Gourmet Pizza is the perfect place to head for lunch or dinner if you are craving Italian style cuisine. Known for its gourmet pizzas. One of the best pizzerias in Brisbane. Their gourmet-style pizzas never disappoint.

Friendly staff who are happy to make any kind of cocktail you want! Always feel relaxed and enjoy myself. Food is good and fresh, roasted garlic the best. When I have people from out of town this is where I take them, a real Brisbane experience.

My favourite Vietnamese cafe - best Pho in town. I love everything about this place, from the friendly staff, mismatched condiments and crockery but especially the homemade lemon sodas with sugar, very delicious foods, large servings.
