This shop has wide range of clothing and accessories for different tastes and size...staff are really polite and helpful..bit of downsize is that prices are bit high ( as it hasn't brand products), but I found few unique pieces of clothes and jackets that are unique... Wait for sale...otherwise store is little gem among all these stores that sell almost identical clothes...

Beside garden area (very useful in summer when you don't want stay inside all the time) and good band on Fridays or Saturday's, this place has nice staff, nice crowd gathering here and really warm atmosphere where you can relax and dance if you want...

They have wide range of movies-either new or old releases, TV series and games... Rentals are cheaper in comparison to other video rental shops...and also you can get a good deal if you rent 1 new release and 3 old movies ( this is much cheaper and staff will let you know about it)- you do get charged if you are late with overnight movie releases, but not full price ( depending on how many. Movies you rented).. And if you are late with return staff send you courtesy SMS with reminder ( which I find very helpful and polite...staff are very polite and helpful if y ou need some rare movie among many others...

Prices are normally high in David jones, but I usually wait for sales when I can find my favorite brands of clothes, bags, shoes and cosmetics cheaper than usual (Calvin Klein jeans or tops, tommy hillfiger tops, shiseido or Elizabeth Arden creams,etc)...there is a long cue in front of fitting rooms, but I never had to wait more than 10-15 mins to try my clothes on...and shop assistants are usually helpful if you need different size (they bring it to you) instead of going trough crowd and waiting to try clothes again...

i was moving to new place, so i needed new living and dinning room area furniture...searching for furniture shops i found and really liked focus on furniture in then newly opened springvale homemaker centre...the prices were really, really reasonable, because items were on sale...i put 2 leather sofas, coffee table , tv unit set and dinning table with 6 chairs on 3 mths laybay, as i still needed to discuss with my flatmate what we needed...my flatmate agreed to all of this and i was happily repaying laybay...then 2 mths later my flatmate decided not to get rid of other sofas that were in flat because they were fairly new...i had to cancel sofas from focus on furniture and was happy to pay 25% of value for sofas as it is penalty for cancellation on laybay...i repaid all of rest of items after 2 mths and appologised to shop assistants (explaining my situation)who were really understanding and polite...they talked to their manager and he approved of my cancellation...as i repaid all of items, he needed to send me cheque for sofas minus 25% of their value ($1999)...however i got cheque for full value of sofas with letter stating that i don't need to pay for early cancellation...i was really humbbled by this gesture...not only that their furniture is australian made from local products but they have amazing staff all over!!!!!

i have no words to describe politeness, patience and assistance of shop assistans in clayton forty winks..i was there only once and bought quite a few items, but would recommend it to anyone...i noticed they have a sale and as i was planning to move closer to city, decided to enter shop...i wanted new set furniture for my bedroom and study room...lady shop assistant ('whose name regretfully i forgot helped me to choose bedroom furniture set with new seally mattress too and also gave me good price on items-as i boght bed frame, mattress, 2 bedside drawers and mirror drawer...after that i choose study table with shelves and bookcase for my study...everything was ordered to be made within 2 weeks as they didn't have bedroom items in stock...2 weeks later i got phone call from their factory apologising and telling that they can't make it in 2 weeks but in a month, which i accepted...meanwhile i inspected my new place and realised that bedroom furniture won't match with bedroom there...so, i went back to forty winks and asked them nicelly if my order can be changed to another set of bedroom furniture..they made phone call to factory and had a long talk to them and they accepted change...i choose my new set of furniture (that agrees fantastically with my new bedroom)...they really went out of their way to help me, and i am grateful for that...they didn't charge for assembly of furniture but only for delivery...many,many thanks to forty winks clayton...

i am usually dreading of shopping for pyjamas or on the other hand some lacey revealing nighties, but when i discovered peter alexander my worries stopped...shop assistant helped me to choose nighty that doesn't look like a nighty (it has shiny sequines on it and looks like 80's top) and also helped me to find pyjamas that also don't look like pyjamas but like a top (also with shiny inscription"ghost" on it and pj bottom covered in ghosts)...all this looks fantastic, creative and actually not offensive at all and really suits to anyone who doesn't want to wear ordinary pj's or nighty...and that's me...staff were really great and helpfull...price also extremelly reasonable for this lovely nightwear...

they really have good value for quality products for both genders, but i usually shop for myself...staff there are never pushy and never force you to buy something, but let you choose yourself, and really give you advice when you really need it...i mostly like their jackets (that's what i bought last time and tops as well...they also offer members card that helps with next purchase...

really one of good clothing shops where you can find nice jeans too...shop assistants are really helpful and polite too...last month i found pair of Calvin Klein jeans for $150 and they were originally $220...sometimes good tops can be found as well...they offer rewards member card too, so that points from last purchase go towards next one...

quality and quality and quality!!!!no other words to describe their clothes, bags or shoes...i always find something for each season and it can really last, as it does have quality...prices are bit more than average, but they have unique quality clothes and accessories...
