An Australian owned bookstore which is very rare these days. Always lots of bargains including good prices on latest releases. You can also buy pens and stationery. Lots of children's books too. Staff are always lovely, and very helpful.
Great place to buy books, and if you are looking to buy gift for someone, this is well worth a visit. The bookstore is very large, and has a fantastic range. If you are into cooking, look no further as the cookbooks are fabulous, and have books you cannot purchase anywhere else.
A fabulous bookshop that has a fantastic cookbook section. Very diverse books including their Japanese section. If you are in the city, and love books, this is the place to go.
I attended a wedding at this venue. As it is located within the park, it is perfect for wedding photos. The staff were very friendly and made everyone feel very welcome. The food was typical of a wedding venue - certainly not gourmet, but tasted and was presented very well. I would recommend this venue if you are looking for something that is a bit different.
Lovely place for a wedding, and guests can arrive there by boat. Only new, however it is proving a popular place. You can married at the restaurant, or get married at Clarke's Point in the park and then have a reception there. Would certainly recommend.
An ideal place for large groups of people, however I found it a bit too noisy. The food was OK, however I have had better steaks. Good for Xmas functions, but you would need to book early.
I have been there once, and frankly could not see what all the fuss is about. The staff were fairly indifferent and even rude. I was disappointed as this place was supposed to be fantastic.
A good range of beautiful pieces. Great place to shop if you are looking for something very special. The clothes are on the expensive side, however they do have sale items which are worth a look. The staff are always very pleasant. They also have sales on evening wear with 70% off which is very handy for weddings, formals, etc.
Good range of clothes, and you can get even get some pieces for under $50. Interesting decor, and the staff are pleasant.
A good place to stay if you want to be near the Casino and not pay a fortune for a room. Yo can access the casino and restaurants via the overhead bridge. The staff have always been pleasant. Not too far from the CBD for a bit of Melbourne retail therapy.
