Breakfast was amazing. I had two poached eggs on sourdough with smoked salmon, fresh avocado with blanched spinach and my wife had eggs florentine. Our lattes were two of the best we've ever had. The ambience very cosy but dont make the mistake we made which was to sit on the table closest to the door. The service was friendly with the barrister making it personable. We're definitely coming back.

Saltus Luxury Accommodation was truly relaxing. We stayed in one of their four beautiful apartments in Hepburn Springs. Suite 1 was home for the night. Layout was smart and it was tastefully modern and immaculately clean.

The bathtub for two was heavenly, and the views from the bathroom and rear balcony relaxing.

The temperature in the room was perfectly monitored. The heating kicked in automatically when sensing a drop in temperature, making our stay cozy. The gas fireplace added to the ambience and was easy to use.

The bed was like sleeping in a cloud. The next morning we woke to hear kookaburras calling.

Organising the stay could not have been easier. The owner Amanda was a delight to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. Met her husband Paul and he too was beyond helpful. A real life saver in fact, helping us get our bogged car out of a ditch.

We would not hesitate to recommend and we look forward to coming back.

Approximate cost: $Not sure. Received as a gift.

Everything about Sault restaurant was amazing.

The ambience was warm. Throughout dinner we looked out at kangaroos grazing on the grounds.

The service throughout our dining experience was friendly and attentive.

Prior to our starters arriving, we were served a small tasting dish made up of smoked salmon and cremè fresh. It was unexpected and delicious.

For starters we had the prosciutto wrapped scallops. The presentation was amazing and the flavours were to die for.

For main I had the eye fillet with potatoes, roasted capsicum, onions and cherry tomatoes with red wine jus. My wife had the free range suckling pig. We shared a beetroot, goats curd, lambs lettuce and caramalised walnut salad. Everything was truly delicious and portions were generous.

For dessert we had the lemon cheesecake, the chocolate gateau with earl grey mousse and a third, a warmed pear tart. All three desserts were decadent and delicious.

Our lattes were spot on and finished our Sault experience perfectly.

Would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to coming back.

We've been regulars to DEF&C since the new owners took over in January. Service is always friendly and the product consistently exceptional.

We have their fish and chips (fried and grilled flake), lamb souvlaki, fish burger and hamburgers.

Their fish and chips are always golden, because the oil they use is always clean. We never feel heavy after eating their food.

They are well priced for the quality that they produce. I've paid more at other take aways in the area and been dissatisfied.

Without a doubt, the best fish and chips we've ever eaten. Would highly recommend.Â
