The food here is great but the service is terrible and the staff verge on rude.
We went there twice just in case the first time was a one off with rude staff but the service was the same both times.
Food however is nice if you want to put up with rude staff.
Nice little hotel based in Surry Hills so if you are looking for a night out on Oxford Street you could stay here and just walk home.
Restaurant area small but buffet breakfast is good and waitress is nice.
Rooms are good size however if you open the curtains (in the room we were in which was a balcony style room) you look straight into apartments opposite. So keep the blinds closed and you will have a great stay.
Room has a huge plasma with a little couch so you can watch TV in comfort.

Great little mexican style pub.
Tacos are really nice (they are soft shell) but small so 1 will never be enough.
Margaritas and great and they have a few different types - the Jalapeño Margarita has a good nice kick to it and the pink (pink grapefruit) one is really nice.
Not a huge menu of food or drinks but what they have is spot on. You will go back again for sure.
Enjoy
This place is a tourist attraction in Sydney.
A little caravan style pie and hot dog shop.
The mashy peas and cheese sauce are a winner on top of any pie or hot dog.
No seating so you buy and stand and eat but it's all part of the experience.
I love this hotel.
We used this hotel for our honeymoon night.
I have stayed here several times and they have a few different room types. The Heritage wing has older beautiful rooms with high ceilings.
The service here is impeccable, nothing is to much trouble.
On the lower ground level is the GPO shopping area which you just have to visit. There is a cheese room you must see.
We love Indian food and were suggested this restaurant by a taxi driver. He told us many Pakistani and Indian taxis drives come from all over to eat there and I can see why.
The food is beautiful.
Has all your typical Indian meals long with specials.
Very good flavours.

Lovely Vietnamese food. My favourite is the salt and pepper calamari - it is a winner. Hubby's favourite is the Vietnamese Beef Stew, the entrees - we are working our way down the menu and have not found one we don't like yet.
Friendly staff who leave you with a smile.
Nice decor inside and also has outdoor seating.
Approximate cost: $15
GREAT Thai.
The first time we ate here my husband had been sick prior to me ordering and he just had a soup for dinner. I however ordered curry puffs and red beef curry and it was so so nice that it took all my might to keep myself from showing him how much I was enjoying it as he couldn't have any.
As soon as he was better we ordered from there again and he knew how much I had held back from letting him know how nice it is.
We try and order something different each time and we have never found a dish that is no wonderful.
The curry puffs are a favourite of ours.
The restaurant itself is smallish but has a lovely little area that is decorated nicely out the front.
Approximate cost: $13
We only ever have delivery from this place and they are fast in getting the order to you.
The servings are very large and good fresh food however MSG is certainly present. There is always lefts overs for lunch the next day.
They often throw in a little surprise free which is nice.
Approximate cost: $13
View is fabulous here. Harbour Bridge at it's best.
Location is a little difficult to find the first time you go as you have to drive through a park and depending on if the gates are open or closed as to how close you can park.
The food is lovely. We had a set menu and all dishes that arrived were beautiful.
Would recommend lunch in winter and dinner in summer.
A little pricey but with the view I would say it is worth it.
