This is a great buffet restaurant to try if you are looking for a place that caters for large groups / family/children.
Throughout the week, they offer themed nights and being a seafood addict, I have only been to the Seafood nights available during weekends only.
Although not a great range of food (compared to the Sheraton of Gold Coast),
it is still quite satisfying as many dishes are cooked fresh and hot on the bar side(eg. the char-grilled steak, grilled king prawns, pizzas etc.).
Beware though, as they do cater for large groups and especially overseas tour groups, it does mean long ques and alot of noise.
Approximate cost: $69.50
One of the best Japanese restaurants on the Gold Coast, the ambiance is perfect with a Japanese bamboo garden just beside the windows.
Features some exceptionally authentic Japanese dishes and also some fusion dishes.
Ingredients used are of the freshest and the service here is also hard to fault.
Don't miss their annual Hokkaido Food Festival, the chefs will feature some of the best dishes from that region and is often great value for money.
This is a great little place to enjoy the BEST shanghai cuisine in Brisbane.
Most of the noodles dishes fairs well above average Chinese restaurants and all within great value price range. The most memorable dish for me was their shanghai snacks such as Small Steamed Meat Buns and Lightly Fried Meat Buns.
The signature dish though would have to be Stir Fried Rice Cake - Shanghai style!
A truly authentic Italian restaurant offering one of the best pasta dishes in Brisbane (although the meat dishes are equally satisfying).
Very mouthwatering dishes with good use of Mediterranean herbs, this is fairly close to the sort of Italian taste that you'd get around Lygon St of Melbourne.
Great food, however my only complaint would be the price as it isn't in-line with restaurants of similar category/standard in the suburbs.
Approximate cost: $31.90 - 43.90
Being a local Chinese takeaway, Golden Rice meets the standard expectations of this category. The food is slightly greasy like most, however there are a few dishes that are a MUST TRY in this place, (i.e. the spicy hot & sour soup, Kung Po chili chicken, Pork strips pickled cabbage, and combination tofu).
The price is also competitive compared to similar joints in local area.
Whilst the sushi here is not authentically Japanese, it is still worth a try.
The menu offers quite a wide variety of dishes, however the most popular ones seems to be Spider roll, Red & black dragon, and Unatama Maki.
The serving sizes are quite large, so it'd be a good idea to get a few family and friends to share.
Although they are sushi dishes, at the end of the meal you start to get a bit greasy feel as many dishes contains deep fried parts or enormous amounts of mayonnaise used repeatedly.
Approximate cost: $avg. $10
Professional people who puts together stunningly beautiful flowers.
You can be as pedantic as you like about what you need, and these guys will just get it done. Very satisfying service.
An old Japanese dining in Highgate hills with a somewhat, unattractive fit-out.
Food however, has always been good over the years (eg. the sashimi/sushi moriawase, grilled chicken skewers, tako karaage etc.). The sushi especially, is one of the best in town.
Service is a little disappointing especially during busy hours (eg. wrong dish sent or long wait between dishes)
I think this place would benefit greatly with a renovation.
I have made a few purchases before from them. Their website is extremely helpful, as it consists of all details and specifications/measurements of all boxes along with the price list.
Fast turn around and a great range of packaging to suit almost every need.
You can also go to their display office if you want to see the actual box or need any advice from the guys.
Had Chris to assist us in an investment property depreciation schedule before.
Very prompt and professional service, and overall a hassle free experience. Highly Recommended.
