Great ambiance and exceptional quality food. Although only visited on one occasion but it was quite a night to remember by. Each dish is well prepared and alot of thoughts put into them. A very fine quality establishment, highly recommended.

Approximate cost: $39.50 - 42.50

Visited this restaurant on countless occasions. It is always on top of our list if we are looking for a place to have a quick lunch in Surfers Paradise.
The food here is very modern Japanese. One of the best would be the signature 'omelette rice', and it was actually better than the ones we had whilst in Tokyo few months back.
Lunch menu is of great value for money. Although a little busy, service is still very top notch in this kind of eatery.
Extensive sake / shochu list. Once again, a great place to go for consistent and reliable quality Japanese food.

If you are after one of the freshest cuts of sashimi then this is definitely the place to be. Located in the James st Market, this little sushi bar is integrated with "Fresh Fish Co". All fish and seafood are sourced directly from Fresh Fish Co, which is a great idea.

Although the sashimi is good, I didn't quite enjoyed the cold 'hard' rice in most sushi dishes. That seems to be the only disappointment.

An attractive decor along with a great view of the river.
Do try the special lunch sets (eg. SONO Set), although not cheap but certainly fairs better value compared to the dinner menu prices.
They also feature an extensive wine / sake list. The sake tasting set is also quite worth a try.
Overall, a very enjoyable meal in a beautiful setting. Highly Recommended.

This review is for Lee House Korean BBQ, Sunnybank Hills QLD

Have tried many Korean BBQ restaurants on the Southside of Brisbane, however, this has to be one of the best in recent years. The timber styled decor is quite attractive and comfortable and it is less smokier than many Korean restaurants due to the extra exhaust fans they have installed on top of every char-grill stove.
The menu consists of a wide range of dishes and meats.
The food is top quality and authentic, all meats are fresh and not FROZEN like many places that I've been to.
Service is one of the best I've had in a Korean restaurant, hard to fault.
Hopefully they can stay consistently in top form like they have been.

Been to this place plenty of times dating back to some 10 years ago. The peking duck here is by far the BEST in Brisbane. Although not on the cheap side of scale however, it is definately worth a try. Must make reservation ahead and tell them you'll be ordering a duck.
