Hired to steam clean one 15 square metre loungeroom for a rental property. Operator arrived on time, carpet was cleaned well but left a lot of water in the entry way and no attempt made to clean up upon leaving. Advertised minimum price was $59 including GST; had to argue with operator and call the company three times to have the extra $6 GST I was charged by the operator refunded. Not great.
Approximate cost: $59 for three rooms incl GST
Paul was amazing- came out to fix a broken security door at short notice and for the most reasonable price (I called 5 other services). Fantastic!
Perched on top of a mountain, this resort is the height of calm and quiet. Not the best if you intend to drive in and out to places constantly as the road up is very tough (winding dirt track). The couple running the hotel are extremely hospitable, and both the included breakfast An. The dinner package were delicious. Rooms have no tv, just one in the communal lounge area. Go and stay for at least 3-4 days an enjoy the peace and the Unbelievable view. Child friendly.
The food was fantastic, the prawns very fresh, the servings generous. A little bit expensive and the service could have been more attentive, but a great meal overall. Loved the view and the very, very hot chilli sauce!
Food is cooked at the outside kitchen station just like street food in Thailand. The pad Thai noodles are great, as is the fried rice and the curries. all ingredients really fresh, service is quick, flavours fabulous. I wanted to try the associated Thai massage place across the road, but ran out of time.
Food was fresh and interesting. Service was good even though the place was packed, and without fuss, we were given a table without having a reservation on a busy holiday day. Prices a little high but location and everything else spot on.
Amazing value on very, very fresh fruit, veg and deli items. Great selection of cheese, olives and meat, good bread too. Get in early on Sunday to grab some still- warm from the factory ricotta- delicious!
Though a stamp and coin shop in name, this is also a huge bookshop. The fiction selection is massive, and you can always ask whether they have what you're looking for if you can't find it yourself. Some CDs also. There is a buyback/exchange to further add value to your purchases. Easy to kill a couple of hours in there!
The food is amazing, using really fresh Ingredients. The best dishes are on the specials menu, like the lamb and artichoke fricasse. The servings are HUGE so go with at least 4 people. It gets pretty busy so book ahead.
The food is good but not great, though the coffee and cake combo for about $8 is very generous ( the flourless choc cake is great). There is an emphasis on charity through the "arguably the worlds most useful gift guide" catalogues around the cafe. Coffee is really good, served with a square of dark choccie.
