got gel nails done for the first time. it was quick and easy to get an appointment, and the service was really professional. i've had acrylic nails done in the past, and i was reluctant to get anything done again after that disaster! but these guys are good. i'm going to try their other services too.

This is the 2nd time I've been to Anthony's, the first was over a year ago. It hasn't changed- it is as professional as the firs time, but my haircut is even better (and I thought the first one was very good). I got an appointment easily and quickly; service was attentive but not over the top; the stylist listened and consulted appropriately BEFORE washing my hair; the massage chairs are great. The cut is perfect, and it cost $55. Very happy, will return (stylist was Sean).

I've never been a gym member, nor have I been very active or fit, but I had to make a change to my lifestyle or really pay the price! I went to Fernwood because it was close to my work, and I could go at lunchtime. It has worked out really well for me, I love the group fitness classes (pilates, step, dance, weights, etc), and have also started using the machines with guidance from the trainers.

All the women working there are really friendly and helpful, and have made my transition to a healthier lifestyle much more pleasant and easy than I anticipated! Though the gym is closed over the Christmas break, I can go to other branches and keep up my routine.

i'm not overly impressed with trampoline. it's ok, but a bit on the bland side. i'm really looking for a better gelato!!! i like that they let you try flavours first, though

The people are always lovely, and treat me and my pet with kindness and respect. They do a follow up call after pets have been vaccinated to make sure everything's ok. Prices are normal for vet services, and they're open on weekends. Good stuff!

This hole-in-the-wall cafe is amazing! The specialty is crepes, which are great for breakfast or lunch. they range from simple, delicious lemon and sugar, to crazy and complicated concoctions :)

This is a one-stop shop: pharmacy, gift store, newsagency, makeup and hair and beauty products galore. The staff are all really friendly, i never have to wait long to be served. I think there is a medical centre attached to the pharmacy, too.

Lovely food and service, everything was very well-presented. The open front of the restaurant makes for a very pleasant lunchtime dining spot! I didn't ask about this, but read in a food guide that this restaurant will do a vegetarian version of almost any of their dishes.

I have eaten in a few times, had their food delivered (which they no longer do :( and pick up around once a week. The food is delicious, always very fresh, and the service is lovely. Never too busy, so looks like a great place to have a big dinner with family or friends.

i was in a huge rush to get a suit tailored for an important job interview, and i called 6 tailors around the city. money was no object because i needed this suit done in 3 days' time and had no choice.

4 of the other people i called were rude or almost rude- wouldn't give me even the vaguest quote on how much it would cost to alter the suits. felicity at circe was amazing- polite and understanding, offering to see me straight away despite being very busy.

approx price for tailoring a skirt and jacket was $80, very standard price as far as i know. she was fast, too- so i brought in more stuff and gave her card to all my friends!
