This place is supposed to be "wholesale" but you will find the prices are just the same as Woolies or Coles. Want to buy a case of something? Sorry, no special discounts to be found here!! The great thing about this place though is that there are hardly any customers (not when I've been anyway), so you can take your time and not feel like you've got to move along with the flow of traffic, and the aisles are wide too so there's plenty of space. And you don't have to buy by the case either; you can buy single units no problem. Just like a regular supermarket without the fruit, veg, meat and deli. Gotta love those funny plastic trolleys too ;)

A small factory unit packed to the rafters. Many items are bulk size (this company is a wholesaler that sells direct to the public) but plenty of regular sized items too. A lot of deli-style foods plus sacks of bulk flour, salt, rice, etc, as well as regular grocery items. Also has a fresh deli department. Some good bargains to be had.

This place had a product I was looking for, and in stock, whereas other computer stores closer to me did not. The shop wasn't busy so I had an assistant come over to help me straight away. They weren't much help but as a Mac user I expected that. I was served straight away. When I asked if I could bring the item back they said no if it was opened, as they wouldn't be able to resell it. Thankfully the item I chose was what I was after. Parking at the door which is convenient.

Could this place be ANY MORE DIFFICULT to negotiate around? The entire shopping centre is on a gradient. Try pushing a fully-laden trolley from the top (where the fresh food section is) to the bottom (where K-Mart is) and not hit a) another shopper, b) a shopfront, or c) the sofas in the middle of the walkways where shoppers can sit. A hokey little Westfield, the hokiest I've been to, but that's to its advantage because it doesn't get too busy.

This place is great. Nice staff, self-service checkouts, good prices, and lots of very heavily discounted items can regularly be found, especially clothes and shoes when a new season arrives.

Too busy all the time and it doesn't seem like there's enough staff. You feel like you're going to be holding everyone up by taking an assistant away from the cash register. The store is too small and a nuisance to negotiate your way around, especially with a pram. Is this store about baby equipment or is it more for expectant parents? They really should move to a bigger location.

One of the larger Hot Dollars that I've visited. I always find something/several things worth buying in there. Don't expect good quality - it is a $2 shop after all - but you can still find good deals aplenty.

Open each Sunday (weather permitting). Hundreds of stalls selling new and second-hand items. Items to be found include tools, toys, bric-a-brac, plus a couple of fresh produce stalls and a pet stall here and there. A permanent section in the middle that contains food kiosks (mostly hot chips, hot dogs etc). A good mix between professional dealers selling new stuff and people selling unwanted items from home. If it's a hot day make sure you wear sunscreen, and if you bring toddlers along make sure you bring a stroller. Entry for adults $2 - very reasonable. Also open Wednesdays but a lot smaller.

Large charity store with huge amounts of books, bric-a-brac, furniture, clothing. It's a good mix (not all furniture and hardly any books, or vice versa) and most importantly it's open 7 days a week. Very popular among the locals.

Very fresh, good quality fruit and veges. Also has a selection of deli items. Generally very reasonably priced. Well-staffed so you will be served quickly. In a small shopping centre with good parking.
