A great trendy little cafe in the heart of Elsternwick main street. Good value for money and a nicer atmosphere than many of the dodgy cafes in the area. Attracts a younger crowd than many of the other local businesses.

I was cold called for this rewards program after staying at a local Mercure hotel. After being totally misled about the advantages of this program by the extremely pushy call centre staff member I agreed to try joining this program. Within 30 minutes of signing up I realised the program was not what I was promised, in that discounts can only be used in asia-pacific contries, not worldwide, and the free nights accomodation you recieve is virtually imposiible to book when you want. Steer clear of this scam!

My Pet Warehouse has only just recently opened, but is now the best pet supplies mega store in the area. The range is unbeatable and prices are comparable to other similar pet warehouses i have been to. Well worth a visit.
A good little pet supplies store, probably best for it's range of premium pet food that isn't available at the supermarkets, and probably the only place in Richmond. They also do pet grooming but I havent used this service. Small feiendly business.
Simply the best nursing agency in Melbourne. After working for a number of different agencies around the country, Heather, Marie and the team at Melbourne Nursing Agency are the best I've worked with. They take the time to get to know their nurses, and doe their best to place you in the locations and shifts that suit you best. Work closely with St Vincents and Royal Melbourne Hospitals.
A homewares mega-store from the Bed Bath n Table chain. This place has it all, and you can spend hours looking around at all the great homewares, manchester and kitchenware. There's also a cafe where you can get a coffee when you need a break. Keep an eye out for "Prue and Trude" in the cafe.

One of the regular Bunnings chain of stores. This store is always neat and easy to find your way around. However, it doesn't tend to have the range that other locations have, such as South Melbourne, but great if you are just after everyday hardware items.
Dr Kendler is a very friendly and carign, old fashioned style dentist. He operates from a small clinic on Bridge Rd and his rates are very reasonable. He's great for your regular check-ups, and you don't have to wait 3-months to see him. He bulk bills too.
This is a fantastic nursery with a great range of plants, pots and outdoor living supplies. Some of the prices tend to be a bit on the expensive side, especially for the pots, but it's all great quality stock. They have also increased their range of indoor furniture, and have some very interseting furtiture
A great friendly little pub, primarily with a gay and lesbian clientele, but often has a very mixed crowd. Best time to go is Saturday nights when renowned drag diva Dulcie Du Jour and her cavalcade of stars take to the stage to perform. There's often a BBQ out in the beer garden, and a different theme each night. Wednesday night's is wine, cheese and acoustic mucis night.
