Stayed in this outback caravan park while looking at all the old mining towns that are now starting to operate again with open pit mining. Adequate facilities and a stopping spot within reasonable distance from our last stop

Also enjoyed our stay at this National Park's camp site at Lucky Bay. Septic toilets and BBQ available. Reasonable gravel roads to see spectacular bays and the finest of sands. Saw seals in the water and kangaroo visited us in the camp site. Friendly ranger and our two nights there were great In certain spots beach access to drive on the sand when conditions suitable

This national park is awe inspiring. Sealed road for a great deal of the park and then well maintained gravel/sand roads to two spectacular lookouts and walks. Picnic areas and toilets are provided. The Murchison River Gorge is magnificent and well worth the shorter walks to see. Longer walks available for those who are fitter than us. Do not miss these views if in the area

This cafe is another Jetty Cafe on the seafront next to a caravan park. As we did not have a view from our caravan we enjoyed coffee here. It was an inclement day and we had a good view of the waves pounding on the jetty. Pleasant menu with a wide variety of options if you are looking for a meal. Handy location and many locals there too

Came in here and obtained interesting information on the sights to see around Kalbarri. The Kalbarri National Park info is good and tells about the Murchinson river gorges. We are planning to visit these soon. Worth coming here and getting some ideas

This cafe/restaurant is situated next door to a caravan park. It is right on the foreshore and has a beautiful view. Inside and outside seating. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served. So far have sampled a chocolate milk shake which was very cold and flavoursome. Just how I like it. Will most probably have some calamari before we leave here too.

Really happy staying in this park. It has many trees which create shade when needed, many BBQ's and good facilities. There are 8 large unisex ensuite bathrooms as well as the usual facility setup. Laundries and clothes lines throughout the park. A very relaxing feeling is enjoyed in this beautiful part of Western Australlia

Stayed here in a powered site. All satisfactory as expected. Park is close to the beach and there are many sites and chalets as well. Well cared for with clean amenities. On a nice day the beach would be very welcoming for swimming and walking etc

Paid 10 dollars for entry to the Wave Rock area. Enjoyed it until we went up stairs to the top of the rock. A sign said to follow red markers for a short cut to the car park. The signs stopped and then it was very difficult to find a way down off this very high rock. Feel it was very dangerous and my wife had trouble coping. Be warned.

Very friendly owners who are working on updating this remote park. Sheltered sites available but no views from sites. Many cabins available. Mainly for fishing and site seeing to National Parks but ok for a night or two. Kiosk also there

Approximate cost: $37.00
