Enjoyed visiting this national park and having a picnic lunch. BBQ and toilets are available and sited on a very placid inlet. Day trip from Esperance and perhaps a little far away. We travelled over 100 km each way
We visited this National Park and found the roads to be quite rugged. Stunning scenery in a number of places but longish trips to each destination. However as we paid 6 dollars (seniors) it was worth while and inexpensive.
First time we came for coffee the cafe was closed. It only opens on certain days. However when we came later in our stay it was open and we enjoyed our coffee. Wonderful views over the sea and port so it is nice to linger.
Bought kebabs from here for another takeaway meal. Friendly and good service and selected from a large range of takeaway food. Happy with our meals and as it was a busy shop I suggest that the locals are happy too
While travelling in WA I found I needed new tyres sooner than expected. Left a message for when this tyre shop opened on Monday saying what was needed and that I would be there at 8 am. All was ready for me when I arrived. Very friendly and helpful and also very busy place. Impressed. Thank you Wayne
A great cafe and bakery. Had one of the best pies for a long time here. Also a custard tart which was an indulgence. My wife indulged in a vanilla slice which she enjoyed.
Really enjoyed our trip to the Nambung National Park and did the 4 km drive around the one way track to view the huge array of pinnacles. They are of all shapes and sizes. The interpretative centre is also of interest in telling the story of the land from millions of years ago.
Approximate cost: $6.00 seniors/car
Received quick and friendly service when purchasing our take away fish and chip meal. Very nicely cooked and fresh as you would expect the fish to be. Enjoyed it in our caravan.
Popped in here for some info on the National Park with the Pinnacles. Friendly and helpful and a good map of the area surrounding Cervantes and the Jurien Bay area.
Arrived at this park today and it is on the beach front which is a great position. However, this park is full of newish chalets. The caravan sites are mainly drive through but are not well presented. Two amenities blocks which are clean but the one nearest the more permanent sites definately needs replacing and the other one is ok. It's position is what saves the day.
