After a very stressful drive there, having difficulty finding it in the dark due to lack of visible signage, we made it late. The store had called us twice to see if we were still coming and tried to direct us without success. We arrived and the man that greated us was the waitperson that had called us and was relieved to see us and took us to our table. We then were handed over to 'Bubbles' and she proceeded to settle us in and direct us towards ordering. Our orders were taken with many a smile and a 'nothings a problem' attitude which was wonderful. Our wine arrived and was the wrong bottle, so that was dealt with quickly and without a fuss. The kids meals arrived before ours which was great as it meant that they could cool before we all ate together. Our meals came in a timely fashion, as in, I expect about a half hour and it was with in that time. Bubbles delivered our meals, including the sour cream that I didn't want, however she gave it to my friend that did want it which was great thinking! The food was amazingly tasty and generous in serve. My friends potato was boardering on cold, so he asked Bubbles if he could have a hot one. She apologised profusely and took it to replace it but found there were no potatos left so asked if he was happy with her reheating it. I thought that was very bold, but it was a great compromise so all was well. Her attitude is what made all the difference. Even when she was in the middle of serving someone else she assisted us when needed. We were told it was a great place to go and we are glad we went. It is out of our price range but a friend was treating us so we chose Hogs Breath. We will be back!

After having my daughter I could no longer look after her due to crippling back pain. I finally found a Dr that didn't just want to hand me painkillers and reassure me that many people suffer with this kind of pain after having a baby. I went to see the specialists here, and am glad I did, although their bedside manner isn't that great and I always leave feeling confused as to what the next step is. I always have to wait about an hour to be seen, the facilites aren't in great repair, the receptionist always seems flustered yet I still go back as my back health is essential.

I have used this Pharmacy many times for natural health products. The staff aren't quick to serve you, however once I get their attention they are very helpful.

Kent moved our belongings from WA to Vic. My husband ended up helping them load the truck as the men who were doing the moving were taking so long and messing about. When our belongings arrived in Vic, it was nice to arrive in our new place to find all our boxes and furniture in and not just in the basement of the building as we were first told they would be. We did have one piece of furniture destroyed which was very disappointing as we didn't sell it because we needed it, but instead ended up having to throw it away once we got here. It very clearly had been dropped from a height, but when we spoke to Kent about it they said it was damaged 'in transit' and they couldn't do anything about it. Unfortunately the company we are with use them to move their staff, so we will have to deal with them for years to come.

I had my baby here after moving from WA to VIC heavily pregnant. The facilities are new and lovely. I had a Cesarean even though I had no 'immediate' medical reason besides psychological reasons, and was very happy with the attitude of the surgeon and nurses. I felt like I'd just met up with a bunch of friends as the team all got things in order, prepped me, delivered my baby, prepped her, then gave her to me. My husband was treated like a friend also, and was having a great conversation when our daughter was born. The breastfeeding nurse was wonderful as she held my baby for me so I could feed her for the first time. I couldn't use my arms because of the anaesthetic for my cesarean. Even though once on the ward, the staff were very busy due to lack of staff, they still treated me with dignity when they finally got to me when I called them. I felt supported and cared for in my vulnerable early days after having my baby. If anything I wouldnt have minded being left alone a bit more, but atleast they were attentive.

This is a cute store with a sage in regards to fishing running it. If you need to know anything about the local area, need advice on where to fish depending on your level of expertise and experience, need advice on fishing gear, need something repaired and just want a chat, the manager is always professional and will go to the extreme to help you. So much so that if you have visitors coming and you want to take them fishing but don't feel equipped to do so, he will come with you! The manager also runs childrens programs in the school holidays to teach fishing. This man is an award winning fisherman himself. Don't go to the big stores. This store will give you discount if you ask, but otherwise the pricing is very competitive.

This is a very liberal school, but saying that, it does mean that because there are all sorts of students there from different ethnic, religious and lifestyle backgrounds, it means that I dont have to worry about my son being picked on for his glasses or being skinny etc. They have a very hands on learning style which is perfect for my son. The teachers are addressed by their first names, they don't have a uniform, they children are exposed to all sorts of excellent and varied experiences and learning opportunities. Because I don't pick up and drop off my son I do find it hard to communicate with the teachers, so miss out on information regularly that is announced to the parents. They do have a different learning style, and I'm not sure it will be helpful in the long run, but for now, it suits my son where he is at.

After Dr Robertson being recommended to us by our Child Health Nurse we thought we'd give him a try for our 7 year old son. He is a Childrens and Family Psychiatrist. He is very kind, gentle but direct. We found him to be quietly matter-of-fact with out making us feel like we weren't good enough as parents. His prices are expensive but thats because hes a pschiatrist and not just a counsellor. Medicare do pay almost half. It costs us $240 for 45 mins. I would recommend him to anyone whos having trouble with their childrens behaviour. Hes been very helpful and has given us hope.

I bought a voucher and got 2 hair cuts, styles and treatments for $39. I haven't gone back. The hairdresser was the owner and she was very unprofessional, told me all her personal business, and seemed to just be playing 'hairdresser' instead of being a hairdresser. I did go back for my second hair cut but thats because I'd paid for it in the voucher.

This review is for Maya Masala, Rockingham WA

verified email - 29 Feb 2012

After trying Indian food on holiday, it was very hard to find anywhere in Australia that made anything similar until we discovered Maya Masala. Their food tastes very authentic. I love the pumpkin curry best. All their curries are gluten free and most are dairy free too. We find the small/regular serve to be too big for one person which is nice when your paying! The meals are cheap and the food tasty. Their Naan bread is to die for according to my husband and children. They serve you very quickly, their food isn't always hot though. We kept going back because it is cheap and filling and tastes good.
