No-one wants a plumbing emergency - least of all at 11pm on a Sunday night! I was just drifting off to sleep when I heard water suddenly cascading from my ensuite basin. A metal hose had busted underneath and water was pouring out at a rate of knots. I contacted Proud Plumbing and Gas and Max arrived within 30 minutes. He quickly took control of the situation and replaced the hoses with new ones that had small isolation taps on them. The service was professional and friendly and I am so grateful for the quick response.
Hopefully I won’t have another emergency for a long while (my stress levels couldn’t take it) but if I do, I’ll be straight on the phone to Proud Plumbing and Gas!

A lovely, elegant gift store with tons of beautiful things to buy! The store layout is fabulous, very french. The store is beautifully decorated and very inviting. Products are first class, I could spend a fortune in here! Prices are pretty steep though so I don't often indulge. A lovely experience and a perfect place to get a really fabulous present if you don't mind paying for it.

The owner is very friendly and pleasant. This is a lovely local gift store with plenty of nice things to choose from. The atmosphere of the shop is also lovely and it's like a veritable treasure trove! Prices are good and you can always find something special. I usually also walk out with a little something for myself as well!

This is my regular supermarket. They have a good selection of most products and good opening hours, although they don't open Sundays. Fruit is usually ok but sometimes a bit pricey. Same with the meat. They have a good bakery selection and the deli is really good. Floor staff are pretty good and quite helpful. Till staff however are usually quite young and inexperienced. This seems to be their first job and they don't really have any idea of the appropriate ettiquette. I've had many a conversation go on around me between staff in adjacent tills. Staff really could do with training on how to be more professional. I always pack my own groceries as the staff are also hopeless on packing - washing powder in with fridge items, grapes underneath potatoes. I've lost 2kg of chicken breasts ($25) before when they were packed with the tin cans and I didn't see them because I was in a rush and didn't have time to unpack everything.

Used to go here all the time but when we moved, we went to a closer place for our fish and chips. Our regular was closed so we tried John's again. I was really happy - the grilled fish was just divine! Servings were generous, menu was pretty standard, classic choices. Chips were good.

The business has been running for 63 years so it's a bit of a local institution! Very happy and will be using John's as our regular now, even though it's a bit further than our usual.

Good, simple fish and chips. Lots of menu choices. My favourite is the Seafood Basket - small fish, chips, 2 prawns, 2 scollops and a crap stick. Yum! Service is always friendly and fast. Prices are quite good.

A cute store for children's second-hand clothing with occasional shoes, toys and costumes. The owner is a lovely, friendly lady who sources lots of the clothes from the UK. The pieces are clean, in good condition and prices are really great. I've found many a bargain here!

A nice, simple cafe in pretty surroundings, attached to a lovely nursery. Interesting artworks and displays are showcased on the walls, a bit like a mini gallery. Some are for sale. The outside area is pretty and like a breath of fresh air.

Delicious authentic Thai food in an authentic restaurant atmosphere. The Thai Orchid has a comprehensive menu and everything I've ever tasted has been fabulous. One of the best Thai restaurants in Perth. Has a number of Gold Plate awards.

Littlebuds Kindy is a fantastic opportunity for 3-4 year olds to attend a traditional kindy. The venue is perfect for small children - shady trees, a sandpit, outdoor toys - and inside is filled with wonderful activites like painting, stories, building blocks, trains...the list goes on! The staff are wonderful and friendly and really make the children and parents feel welcome.
