They have a fairly small range, but absolutely beautiful and inspiring flowers, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I have never walked away from this shop less than rapt with the result. This is my favourite local florist.

Range average, prices average, service was lacking on the day I visited.

This review is for La Francesca Restaurant, Surrey Hills VIC

We get take-away from this restaurant all the time -- it is the best take-away pizza we have had by far!!!!
The pizzas are very authentic Italian -- anyone who's been to Italy will know that real pizzas are not overloaded with 10 cm thick shredded ham, etc, but instead quite scant but really tasty and fresh toppings -- this is how La Francesca make theirs, and they are SOOOO good.
Other menu items have also been fantastic -- we've had chicken parmigiana which was yummy and served with a generous helping of fresh seasonal vegies, and really good potato wedges.
As for the service....well, to be greeted by name and farewelled with a big smile and "Ciao bella!" just takes the cake. Fantastic!

This is our favourite local fish&chip shop.
The chips are great here, and so are other menu items we have bought. The fish has always been fresh and tasty, the scallops and prawns have been nice and big every time we've bought them, and the burgers and souvlaki were pretty good (not the best I've had, but pretty good).
The service is very friendly, and the waiting times are short (or have been every time we've been there).
Also, the shop appears nice and clean, and I believe they use the "healthy" canola chips.

I have been here twice, and both times the experience I had totally surprised me and surpassed my expectations.
The service was friendly and felt personal, and the food was fantastic!! The first time I had a chicken Waldorf salad which was absolutely delicious, and the second time I also found the food great -- very fresh and tasty.
The cafe is fairly small but pleasantly intimate towards the back, and I think they have an open fireplace (but can't quite remember).
I'm looking forward to going again.

The range of quilting fabrics here is FANTASTIC!
There is a large range of Liberty fabrics, gorgeous Japanese fabrics, 30s and 40s reproduction prints, fabrics by local designers, patterns and kits, and books and notions.
The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
The shop is set up beautifully with fabrics in related groups, and the majority of fabric ordered by colour.
The prices are about average for the quality of product.
They also have an online store, and run classes in the shop, but I have not used either of these services.

I had Dennis as my obstetrician for my second child.
He is relaxed and has a great sense of humour. He is professional and thorough, and a good listener. He is very responsive and seems to know when to lead or follow with respect to questions and information.
I liked his approach, which in my opinion was that pregnancy is a normal healthy process, and not something to prod/jab/investigate/intervene unnecessarily.
He is a very popular ob for good reasons.

Living in Box Hill, this is one of our very favourite places for take-away.
The food is always fresh and delicious, and the menu has good choices.
The prices are fairly average -- in Box Hill you can find many cheaper places, but the food keeps us coming back.
The restaurant is always so busy that sometimes the service is a little patchy, but it doesn't worry me -- I can see they're busy, and the smiles may be quick, but at least they're genuine.

This review is for Maxi Foods Supermarket, Blackburn North VIC

One of the reasons I choose to shop here is because I am boycotting Coles and Safeway due to the disgraceful supermarket monopoly they share.
Another reason is the variety: there are the usual familiar brands, but also lots of boutique brands with great products -- a bit of "David Jones food hall" about it. Not really any more expensive than other supermarkets, in my experience.
The fruit and veg are great quality, and the meat is worth shopping here in itself!! Really good.
There are also great specials from time to time (Huggies bulk nappies boxes for $25 recently.)
And I love how the aisles have a through-way halfway along! Great if you forget something.

As a mother with young kids, this service has been a life-saver for us.
Having milk, bread, eggs, cheese, and juice delivered has made doing the rest of the shopping so much faster and easier.
We have a standing order, and it's easy to change it with an email or phonecall, and you have until 2pm the business day before.
We had the fruit/veg delivery for a while and it was great (the quality was fantastic except for a few instances) but the problem was not being able to choose: we just don't eat that many carrots or that much lettuce.
