What is amazing about this place is that they provide vegan cheese and vegan salami - and the pizzas made using these two products are delicious! Usually the only option for someone avoiding animal products at a pizza place is a vegetarian pizza with no cheese - which is pretty boring - Eat Pizza has changed that. They also offer wholemeal bases as well as gluten free options and deserve 5 stars for catering for everyone. You can eat in at some basic tables here but I wouldn't suggest it - take away is the best option.

The staff here are great. I bought a 30 kilo bag of chicken feed and the lady who served me bought it out to the car for me - she was incredible. Another time I shopped there, they had a special promotion where you could pick a prize from a bag - I scored 10% off my order. You can also become a member and get sent alerts about sales and promotions etc.

We dined here on a Friday night for my brothers birthday. We all chose to have three courses for $65 and it was the most incredible experience.

I don't eat animal products, and the amazing chef was able to adapt all three dishes to make them vegan for me. This is a sign of a top-notch professional chef. Many other chefs take a lazy approach to this request and the result is usually a bland risotto or pasta.

The salad of beetroot, ruby grapefruit and young herbs was a stand out for me. Highly recommended.

This supermarket is really in need of an overhaul. The entrance from Gaffney St is extremely dangerous due to the poor parking situation and the overall look of the area needs improvement. Would be good to knock it down and start again. The Coles is small and really just has the bare essentials - I've found the odd interesting thing there, such as traditional Lebanese canned hummus but overall, I wouldn't suggest going there unless there was absolutely no alternative. The staff are all very friendly though and there has been a few items on sale lately.

I stuffed up a cake I baked for my Mum's 60th so gave these guys a last minute call on a Saturday morning to get a replacement cake. They had beautiful fresh cakes in stock and were able to write a message on the cake at the drop of a hat. I bought the vegan apple and raspberry cake and it was just delicious - everyone loved it and nobody could tell it was vegan. They wrote a birthday message on a chocolate square with a shimmer of gold spray on it and it looked fabulous. Was so impressed they were able to do all that at such short notice.

I haven't 'eaten in' yet but noticed they use bonsoy and green eggs (eggs from free range chooks that are re-homed rather than killed when they are at end-of lay).

Ok, I've only gotten takeaway coffees from here but the guy who runs the place really has service and value for money down to a tea. He charges me only $3 for a large soy late (in my keep cup) and always makes sure that it's not all froth. If the cup doesn't feel heavy enough he'll remove some froth and add more hot milk. It's the attention to detail that is impressive and he always remembers my order, even if I haven't been there in a while. The girls who work there are really nice too - every now again one of them will charge me $3.50 instead of $3.00 but I don't mind because I can pay up to $4.50 for the same coffee at neighboring cafes. They use creamy original vitasoy which is totally acceptable by me - bonsoy would be better - but that's just a nit-pick. I've also noticed some dairy and egg free cakes on offer which I presume are vegan - haven't tried them but will do in the future.

Such a great service. We had a carer look after our 3 chooks and cat while we were away. It was handy to also have someone to bring in the paper and open and close the blinds each day. (We required two visits a day to let the chooks out and close them up at night). I think it was about $22 a visit which was pretty good considering it would have been about $18 a day to put our cat in a cattery. It was much less stress on the cat too - she got to stay in her own environment.

Pretty disappointed with this place. We called ahead to make sure there would be vegan options and we were assured they would. I ended up with a very ordinary and salty risotto with what looked like diced frozen vegetables in it. There were vegetarian options on the menu which could have been made vegan but I wasn't given the choice. Pretty lazy to offer up such a poor dish - I would expect that in a pub but not at a nice winery restaurant where you would expect the chefs to have a bit of flair and have the ability to produce a restaurant standard meal regardless of dietary requirements.

Our car broke down and needed a whole new automatic transmission. I called Robert at Coburg Automatic Transmissions on a Saturday and was able to have my car towed to him right away. He explained in detail what needed to be done to the car and told me up front what it would cost. He also got the job done within 3 days which I found very impressive.

An incredible vegetarian/vegan supermarket. The largest range of frozen veggie products I've ever seen. Mock chicken, duck, fish etc, vegan oyster sauce, mushroom products etc. They also stock cheezly. If you are vegetarian or vegan you must pop in here and check out their range, the prices are very good too.
