In attempting to set up a broadband connection, 2 prospective ISPs told me my line was blocked. Telstra told me there was nothing wrong with my line. It wasn't until I went to the Telecommunications Industry Osmandsbum (spelling?) that it turned out that Telstra had put fault codes on my line. I am no longer a Telstra customer.
Chadstone branch has the best range of computer books around - much better than other Borders nearby. I love being able to sit in the cafe with a coffee and really being ably to check the books through carefully before I buy. Also - join their email list for up to 30% off. If you're in a hurry, try Fishpond online for cheaper books.
These vets are very caring and compassionate. My ancient moggie had to be put down and their service was faultless. They don't overservice. One vet I went to many years ago used to ask if there were any questions. Every question added to the final amount on the bill. Not these vets!
Interesting but eclectic range of fabrics. It's better to go with a broad general idea of what you want rather than highly detailed expectations. They often have really interesting fabric (not necessarily cheap) which you won't see anywhere else. The really cheap stuff is generally trashy - the $2 rolls. Excellent range of trims, etc. Some patchwork fabric, not a big range. Best for dress fabrics for adult females. They sell dress patterns, too.
Excellent range of services, including massage. Whenever I've gone with a problem it's been sorted and things have returned to normal fairly swiftly. I always feel confident that the cause will be treated, not just the problem.
This is a factory outlet, so it's basically self service. They have very good quality clothes which appeal to an older age range of men and women. Good for clothes to wear to work or for leisure. You can often get plain t shirts for $5 which are excellent for wearing to the gym. I bought a great jacket there last season which had all my friends asking where I'd got it - but it was the last one!
This is a really useful gift shop -mostly gifts for women. It's a great place for last minute Christmas presents. It's quite small, but has a good range, and I've always been able to find something to buy as a present. If you walk to Chadstone from Hughesdale station, you go right past it.
Approximate cost: $15 upwards
I've been getting my car serviced here for over 15 years and I'm a very happy customer. Attwood Motors are an honest, reliable business. They will not suggest expensive repairs just for the sake of making money. The give you a detailed invoice, warning what will need to be done next time. They are trustworthy.
I don't often eat on the premises but usually visit for the excellent range of middle eastern spices, herbs and groceries. Their spice blends are really useful. They have other herbs and spices as well as their middle eastern range. Cruising the aisles is a cheap trip to the middle east!
