Wonderful experience. I have passed this restaurant so many times wanting to try it and I'm so glad I finally did. The entrance is very unassuming so you could walk past without noticing too much. And once you step inside, you'll see why the name of the restaurant speaks for itself. The whole experience was excellent. Unique art work hangs on the walls, with soft lighting (plenty to enjoy your meal and company, and not too dark), and lovely decor. The food is absolutely delicious - delicate, beautiful flavours. One of the best Indian meals I have had (and I've had a lot!). Really a taste sensation. The owner explained the rich family history of the restaurant and the love and attention that goes in to the recipes and preparation of each dish. Dishes are tastefully presented and the staff are friendly, professional and unobtrusive. Great selection across the menu.
Bookings are essential. We lingered after the meal for several hours and the staff were so welcoming and warm. There was no one hanging over the table waiting for us to finish. Rare to find a restaurant in Adelaide that is open this late on a week night. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location. Right in heart of China Town. Tram stop right outside. Walking distance to The Block and Little Collins Street and loads of shops.
Excellent customer service - staff are personable, friendly and helpful (offering suggestions on places to eat out, giving maps and directions, and greet you with a smile).
Hotel has a gym (small but functional and clean - 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, rowing machines, weight machines and free weights). Room was very clean and comfortable. Good bathroom products. Very comfortable bed. Room service. TV. Mini bar. Iron (and board) and hairdryer in room. Only slight downside was the walls aren't very soundproof and I could hear the person in the next room snoring, and the people on the opposite side talking.
SkyTransfer bus can be booked by hotel staff and stops right outside the hotel.
Close to Her Majesty's theatre - perfect if you're going to a show.

This review is for 400Gradi, Brunswick East VIC

AMAZING! This week I went to 400Gradi for the first time. We just got off the tram on Lygon street in search of delicious Italian food. We sought, and we found. The place was absolutely packed - inside and outside - on a very cold Monday evening. We knew it was good if people were willing to sit outside in the cold to eat. The staff member at the door was kind enough to find us two places even though we did not have a reservation (reservations are necessary). The customer service is exceptional, and personable and makes the dining experience so enjoyable. The staff know their food and wine. I started the meal with a cocktail (Amaretto Sour). Excellent. Perfect balance of lemon and sweet (and not at all sickly sweet). For entree - Quail - beautifully presented, slightly spicy and very delicate. For main - mushroom risotto. Absolutely beautiful. My mouth was thanking me with every bite. Wine - a glass of Montalcino. And finished off with a smooth espresso. It was such an awesome experience.
Thank you 400Gradi for a memorable taste sensation!

Lovely boutique hotel in Ultimo. Very close to Broadway, shops, restaurants, cafes and parks. Professional, friendly, personable service. I stay here several times a year and every time there is something new and improved. Breakfast is available - fresh food and excellent coffee. The rooms are very clean, and comfortable (especially the beds) with air conditioning, t.v and minibar. Very clean bathrooms with great shower (hot water and good shower pressure). No bad odours. Wifi is available but not complimentary. Recommend ++

This review is for Kennards Self Storage, Panorama SA

Excellent service and products. I use Kennards self storage every time I move (and I move a lot!!). They have a wide range of boxes for all packing and storage needs. I particularly like the archive boxes. They're compact and very sturdy and not too deep so you can pack your breakables without them swimming in a huge box. Also great for books. Customer service is friendly and personable. Office is neat and clean. And a bonus is that KSS buy back boxes that haven't been used, or that are in really good shape (with no rips or tears). I'm sure you could find boxes that are slightly less expensive elsewhere but the quality and life of KSS boxes are worth paying a little more for.
Highly recommend.
Tip for driving there: Can only be accessed on left side of Goodwood Road travelling South. If you are coming from the south down Goodwood Road, you'll see the store on your right, just before Daws Road, but you'll need to turn down Daws Road and then right again on to Goodwood. Or find a place further up on Goodwood Road to do a u-turn.

I went to Paddy Palin recently to find a bag. Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They really take time to find out your needs, and then show you what items they have that might be suitable. They take time to show you the features and give extra details, but at the same time, if you just want to browse, they give you the space to browse without following you around. Items were slightly pricey but only slightly different from competitors. They have a good range of backpacks and bags, clothes and gadgets for camping and hiking. Enjoyable experience every time. Thank you Paddy Palin for consistent friendly quality service.

This review is for Adelaide City Council Library, Adelaide SA

Libraries have come a long way! This is a beautiful facility. It's a bit of a pokey entrance (the main entrance) but that small fact pales when you enter the library. Temperature in there is pleasant - cool enough, but doesn't leave you shivering and wishing you'd brought a jumper. There are loads of reading nooks and chairs, ample computers, and places for kids to sit and read too (with bright floor pillows). It's really modern, and there are staff on hand if you don't know how to do something for example, self check out, or find the holds section. Lighting is great. sections are marked clearly enough, and there is a good foreign language section. I really enjoyed both experiences here and will definitely return.

This review is for Munooshi Cafe, Adelaide SA

YUM! Delighted to find Munooshi. The cafe is so cool. I really was transported out of Adelaide in this place and felt like I was in the Middle East for one brief wonderful moment. Staff are super friendly. They have a wide selection of mouth watering items. I can't wait to go back and try more. Recommend the labneh and zatar munooshi. Go hungry because it's super filling.

This is a great cafe. It's open for breakfast and lunch all the way in to the late afternoon. I am a big fan of the haloumi and pear salad. It's a generous portion (a little too much) but there's no skimping on the haloumi. They have fresh juice too - absolutely delicious and fresh, especially great in summer. I recommend carrot, apple, ginger and celery juice. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and there is a good atmosphere. Creative artwork hangs on the walls and there is free wifi. Only thing is the noise - it is a little noisy. But probably because it's fairly big and the floor is tiled.
Indoor and outdoor seating. Recommend.

This review is for Artisan Bakery and Cafe, Adelaide SA

verified email - 23 Feb 2014

This bakery is delightful. The bakery itself is really cool - a bit rustic looking. Staff are very well presented, friendly and love the food they sell. Prices are a little higher than you might pay at a deli or local bakery, but it's so worth it. I have tried the french stick, and the lemon curd tarts which were delicious and fresh. The bakery itself is clean, great lighting, and you don't even have to go inside to buy something. You can purchase from the front window - makes it a unique experience.
