This practice (urologist) is lacking in many areas, the staff were rude and abrupt and they charge like a wounded bull. It ended up being twice the recommended health care fee so I was way out of pocket.

There are two doctors here, Dr Leader and Dr Smith. I have found that Dr Smith limits her consults to 5mins, youre really in and out. And Dr leader spends more time consulting her computer than you. They used to be better when I was younger, but now they no longer bulk bill and dont seem to have the same amount of interest.

This is probably the best thai place ive been to. The staff are REALLY nice. To start they bring you vegie chips for free. We chose a banquet (which I think was around $40 for both of us) and we absolutely stuffed ourselves and had two days of leftovers. The banquet consists of a large snack platter to start with things like satay chicken skewers, spring rolls, fish cakes etc, then you choose three mains (even though theres only two of you!) such as massaman curry and pad thai. Then theres dessert, I chose lychees with ice cream which was yum.

This place has gone downhill from what I remember when I was little. It still has very fresh fish though. There is a cold room you go in and pick your fish and pay for it, then they take it and cook it for you, or you can take it home fresh. They used to have a man that fed the pelicans out the back but I think he's stopped doing that. It was like a mini tourist attraction as literally a hundred or so pelicans would turn up. They are still worth the drive out if you are down that way though and I prefer them to the seafood place next door with the big fish out the front.

I went here recently for breakfast. It is so beautiful here, you look right out over burleigh beach. The breakfast was delicious too, blueberry pancakes with syrup, jam and cream. They also have amazing juices they make to order, the one with strawberry juice was awesome, the strawberry part floats in its own layer.

Approximate cost: $15 for breakfast

This little place is so far out of the way most people don't know it exists. Phone reception is non existent out here. A lovely man named Joseph used to run this and I always got the mousse cake and hot chocolate. I think it comes to about 12 bucks but its worth every cent. He made the cake himself each day. I think he may have sold the place on though so his cakes may not be there anymore.

I was a little disappointed with how they treated me here, considering it is next to an art gallery so you would expect they would be used to "artist" type people coming in. (I am very alternative looking and they looked down their nose at me). The cakes were quite expensive (7.50 a slice) and were okay. They were presented beautifully though.

This review is for Currumbin Surf Life Saving Club, Currumbin QLD

The best thing about this place is its literally on the sand at Currumbin beach (and gets flooded every king tide!)
The meals are standard for a surf life saving club, best meals being seafood. I sat on the balcony and froze to death, so try and get a seat inside if its cold.

This is the BEST RSL meal you will eat. The staff are impeccable as this is a training restaurant for people doing hospitality courses. The menu is fresh and always changing, and I have never had a meal here I didnt like. If you are a member of Currumbin RSL you also get a 10% discount. I ate here with 3 others and our bill totalled only $84, this included drinks.

Ive eaten here twice now and I think the menu changed from the first time. The first time I had a delicious asian dish with chicken. The second time I was hard pressed finding something I wanted to eat and ended up having to just have wedges as half or more of the dished contained curry and coconut! It was an unusual menu change.
