We had only 15 minutes for our sitting, the kids were interested in using some of the props but were told there wasn't time for that. We then amused ourselves while they got our package ready. We had noted down the sizes of some empty frames we had at home, all ready to order some photos. When the choices were shown to us they were totally inflexible and they wouldn't even do the sizes we wanted. The composite photos only came in one size, etc. The prices were breathtaking (ie they made us gasp & splutter!). We asked for some time to think about it. It seems like such a waste to spend that time dressing the kids up and going to a photo shoot and then not buying anything and it's horrible to think that there are photos of the kids that we don't have. But the prices were just too high, they couldn't even do the sizes we wanted which means we would need to buy new frames, and the photos weren't even that good. So we just asked for our free photo. Thank goodness the sitting was free, too!!!

Approximate cost: $600

Staff are all very friendly, they all do a good job. The rooms are all freshly decorated and look nice. You get a reminder call a week before your appointment. Seems a bit expensive, but I don't have anything to compare it to. Overall always a very good experience.

Great local GP centre. They bulk bill, are open long hours and can often get an appointment when you want it. They also offer home visits, which are bulk billed. Have also helped me over the phone with a bit of advice. Friendly doctors, too. Also a chemist next door for convenience.

This is a bulk-billing, many-doctor centre. They do not take appointments, you just have to turn up and wait until a doctor is ready to see you. This can be over 2 hours as I found out - and with a bored 3 year old inventing his own amusement it got quite stressful. You can go over to Westfield Marion for part of your waiting time. There are no magazines or toys provided to help you while away the time, so come prepared. I've tried it out several times and it has been unsatisfactory each time. So that's it - never again. My newborn had his first checkup & injections here and we were there for over 3 hours all up! And if you need to leave a sample (as my older son did when he had gastro) you can't just drop it off at the counter, you have to take a number and wait to see a nurse. And then if you want the results you can't just ring up, you have to come back and see a doctor again - and endure another wait!

Our stroller has had a hard life. Probably have walked about 5000km with it with my first child, plus it's been bashed around in the hold of planes a few times, so the wheel alignment was out and the back tyres were bald. We looked into buying a new stroller and then heard about The Pram Doctor, cost us only $70 to get it all repaired! The guy really knows his stuff and it is great value, better to refresh what you've already got than chuck it and buy a new one!

This is a subsidiary of Citigroup - supplies mastercard product to credit union customers. The product is great value, except if you don't pay on time!! If you sign up to the Qantas Rewards Program you get 1 point for every $ spent - with no restrictions like other programs have. So if you're smart and you pay in full every month and put through all your expenses you can earn heaps of points. The customer service centre is offshore and the staff do have a bit of trouble understanding what you're trying to say to them, but overall a good product.

Don't go here that often, but the burgers are normally good and last time we went we had really really great chips! Prices are reasonable. Closed on Mondays, not a problem, just something to remember!

Not too bad, quite friendly and generally approachable staff. A bit behind the times in terms of technology - not everyone can attend a 1pm lecture!! Need to be more flexible about students viewing lectures online. Also can't upload assignments, have to actually go in on the due date and fill in a cover sheet (not available online for download) and drop off the assignment. Some really bad teachers are not dealt with - if students are consistently unhappy year after year then surely there's something wrong!!!??? Obviously these points vary for different courses. Campus is lovely, lots of wildlife (parrots, ducks, koalas, snakes(!)) Overall a satisfactory experience.

Consistently good service if you visit a branch, easy to use internet banking. I don't ever pay any fees, why would I use a bank?? You can also open an unlimited number of accounts, which makes it easier for me to manage my finances (eg holiday account, one for each kid, one for work expenses, etc).

Have been with them for almost 1o years now. No monthly fee, no redraw fee. Very good, very fair products. Customer service is great, too, never have to wait long to speak to someone in their Australian call centre. Have just purchased a new property with a short settlement time and they've worked hard to make everything go smoothly. Interest rates are very good.
