My partner and I had been shopping for a new mattress all day, looking for a very firm mattress. After visiting about 5 other stores, we had finally decided on a mattress from Beds for Backs. But noticed the Sleeping Giant next door, so decided to look in one more store. So glad we did. They had the firmest mattress we had come across all day! It seemed ideal to my partner, but I was concerned it was a bit too firm. However the store offered a 30 day exchange policy, with the only extra cost being another delivery fee ($70). This gave me piece of mind, so we arranged to purchase the firmest mattress. When we were paying, the staff member gave us a $100 discount without me even asking. After 2 weeks I decided the mattress was way too firm for me, so we arranged to exchange it for a slightly less firm one. This was no problem - the staff member happily arranged the exchange. The replacement mattress we chose cost $200 more, which we didn't mind paying. But then I noticed that the store was now offering a 20% discount on all mattresses; this would have reduced the cost of our replacement mattress by $200, except that the discount didn't apply to exchanged mattresses. But the sales person said this hadn't yet been officially communicated from Head Office in a memo to the store, so she gave us the discount anyway.

I was really pleased with the two different staff members that we dealt with. Both were helpful, efficient and not at all pushy. I was exceptionally pleased to find that the store did follow through with the mattress exchange when we requested it. I was expecting that we might have a bit of a fight on our hands.

The delivery service was prompt and the delivery van showed up on time. My only annoyance is that the cost of delivery is pretty expensive ($70) compared to other mattress stores (they typically charge $35-40) for the same distance. However from what I can gather the delivery service is a separate business. I would prefer if the Sleeping Giant had allowed us to pick up the mattress or arrange our own delivery service.

We have now been sleeping on the mattress for about 7 weeks and I am very happy with it.

Amazing food, fantastic atmosphere, great service. I've eaten here for dinner on many occasions but this was only my second time of going Sunday for lunch. This time we took our two kids (aged 5 and 2) - the venue is very accommodating of children (has high chair, change table and a kids menu) and there were plenty of families there as it was Father's Day. The food is based on middle eastern cuisine, but in a modern Australian style and I have never yet had something that I didn't like. Even the kids menu is great - not the usual deep fried crap that is served up to children. At the Post Office, kids are treated with respect and get mini versions of the main meals. My kids loved their chicken parmas. A great wine list and lovely people make this a fantastic place to go.

Kiss mobile suits me perfectly as I am a very low-volume phone user (I only send a about 10-15 SMSs each month and rarely make phone calls); so the best thing about Kiss for me is that the credit never expires. To my knowledge Kiss Mobile is the only provider that has credit that never expires.
I almost always use my smartphone (HTC) on my home and work wifi networks, so I use very little data. The Kiss Mobile data casual rate is fine for me, as I am unlikely to use more than 60Mb of data per month. But if I ever need more data, I know that adding mobile data to my account is easy to do.
Kiss Mobile's customer service has been very good - they have always replied promptly to my enquiries. In addition, I've also won their weekly footy tipping prize a few times this season, which has added up to over $30 in credit!
I intensely dislike mobile phone plans, as I think they are over-priced, and I reckon it is great that there is at least one mobile service provider that offers an affordable option for low-volume users.
