I have used Metromovers on a few occasions for our family moves and used them once again to move all our furniture into storage while we were putting in new floors in our home. The Metro men moved some of the furniture within the house where we had space and the rest was taken to Metromovers storage for a few weeks while our floors were completed. Same good consistent service from start to finish with good old fashioned service from the energetic moving team. Special thanks to Anthony who has been the leader of the team on 2 of our moves.

I would like to provide you with some feedback on my moving experience with Metro Movers.

Firstly, I had contacted a couple of places for quotes - most of whom where significantly over quoting me and not taking the time to listen to what my needs were. A colleague suggested you (her family had used you and had very positive experiences). So - very frustrated, I called and spoke with Belinda - who took the time to go through everything in detail with me - all of my needs and expectations. From that phone call alone, I booked the job on the spot.

I called and e-mailed a couple of times for further information or when things changed slightly - every time things were dealt with positively and quickly.

Being called the day before the move was a relief (a friend had recently had movers not bother to turn up when they had been booked).

When the guys turned up they were professional but friendly. The care they showed for my things and the properties at both ends was amazing. They were quick and efficient - whilst still humouring me with converstation and allowing me to help out here and there. They were a very good team, who provided me with laughs and a low stress environment.

So - all in all, an amazing moving experience - a big thank you to everyone involved. It ended up taking less time than I had thought and certainly was a lot less stress than I had feared. I will now be recommending Metromovers to anyone I know who is moving.

I was worried about booking my move by the hour as I had had a previous experience with another company a few years ago where they took all day and had to do 3 trips in a small truck. Metromovers guarantee that if you are not happy with the pace at which the removals staff are working then you can get money back for time wasted. Of course, they were so quick and so careful that everything was moved by lunchtime and the unpackers finished unpacking all my boxes by 6pm. We sat down to a family dinner in our new home the same day as our move!!. the truck was so big that everything fitted in one load with room to spare. I dont plan to move again for a long time but will definitely use Metromovers if I do.
