I went here unexpectedly when I decided in a moment of madness to take the kids to ballarat to see sovereign hill and the various other sights in the area. The food was delicate and precise- exactly what Japanese food should be.
A very comfortable restaurant, very trendy decor, and good food that competes with price and quality with the other Malaysian restaurant next door. The menu to me was innovative, probably because I have not ventured from the run of the mill Malaysian food for a long time. Excellent food and prices.
the chicken pizza wasn't too bad- (actually it was delicious!!), they sell the usual run of the mill pizza, which is nice for a lazy night out- even though I must admit I love to splurge on gourmet pizza's every so often.
For me, I really did not find this to be authentic Italian food- and I should know seeing as I have married into an Italian family. The pizza very only just better that pizza hut and they sell dishes such as fish and chips and parma. Certainly does not deserve the Italian name, however the food was cooked nicely.
Great value for money and very easy on the good old hip pocket nerve. I had an excellent coffee here, they didn't make it over poweringly strong- it was exactly how I like my coffee t be. The staff were helpful and attetive and my order was done in a timely manner.
I had a Delicious almond croissant, among one of the very best I have tasted!! The breakfast menu is good and the cafe really emphasises on all that is french!
average run of the mill dishes and meals. The decor was beautiful, but the contrast to this lovely decor was the disgusting coffee. Mine was watery, and as a coffee connoisseur I was extremely disasapointed.
The coffee is hit and miss. They are a bit lazy with service- my friend has had icy berries on her pancakes on more than one occasion. Other food can be frozen and undercooked at times eg hash browns. The place is fake- the appealing decor is a trap to lure naive customers. Hopefully after reading this review less will be fooled!
Mixed feeling about this place. There are two different people who work here, and on the particular day when the young boy works there, don't expect good service. He mumbles, doesn't allow half serves and is not there for the paying patrons. How ever, the old guy is fantastic and you can depend on him for good deals. There are usually three types of food available for lunch and they all are quire nice. I love the gnocchi with napoli sauce.
Lamb shanks with polenta was sure a treat for me! The food here is not spectacular, nor is it fancy! Its just nicely cooked wholesome food which will keep you satisfied! The waiters were really friendly and it was a pleasant night out for me!
