My family and I have dined several times at the Dragon Palace, and although it is not our favourite Chinese restaurant, it is very nice. They have a large range to choose from on their menu, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. The service is quite fast, even when they are relatively busy. We like that the take away menu is the same as the dine-in menu and the prices are the same, but unlike a lot of other places, the portions are very close to, if not the same, as what you would be served dining in. They are also family-friendly.

Since moving into our home early last year, we have been monitored by Clarke Security (transferred over from the previous owners) and we have been more than happy. Not only are we paying $6 per week for fully monitored alarm system, if we enter the wrong code or set off the alarm in some other way, they are extremely quick to call the listed contact numbers to see if there's a problem at home or if it was just us for some reason. We also had them come out to check over the system when we moved in and to install an additional sensor, and they were extremely friendly and professional and even talked us out of installing a second additional sensor because they believed it would be a waste of our money (now how often do you hear that these days?!). Highly recommend.

The Shoe Shed has a fairly large variety of shoe styles and range of prices. I have found that many of the cheaper shoes (approx $35 or less), have not lasted as long as I would have thought they would, but still found them comfortable and satisfactory for a couple months before wearing them out. This store isnt one of the largest in the chain, but still worth a look.

This has to be one of my favourite bakeries. They have a huge selection of sweet and savouries, and they are always fresh and delicious. The only downside of this bakery is there's almost always a line up because they are just that popular. But, despite the line ups, they certainly do not lack in staff. They always have a lot of people working to keep up with the demand.

I love cheesecake and Cake It Away do make a wonderful cheesecake, several different varieties actually. They also do mud cakes and a range of other cakes. The actual shop is nothing special and the customer service could be improved. Even though the prices are a little on the expensive side, they're not really anymore expensive than other cake places like the Cheesecake Shop and Michelle's Patisserie. They taste great though :)

After being recommended to Barnacle Bills by my parents, my husband and I have become regulars. The service is great. The average time to receive our meals is about 5 minutes (10 at most). The meals are simply presented but cooked to perfection and they have a decent sized menu. It is great value, I love their beer battered whiting. No issues with fish bones either. The actual restaurant is nothing special, but it is clean and welcoming.

We had our wedding reception (3 1/2 years ago) in the Wakefield Room. We had a wonderful night. The table settings were beautiful, but I think it was little cramped but we did reach the maximum for a sit down reception, and the dance floor was also a little cramped, but everyone got up and danced and no one minded. The food was superb and the complimentary night for the bridal couple was an added bonus. We also received a free night in the bridal suite on our one year anniversary which was lovely. Overall, a fantastic and memorable evening despite a few mishaps on the staff's behalf. Highly recommend.

All Wrapped Up has a huge range of gifts. It is a small shop completely filled to the brim with products. Something for everyone. The service is great, but the products are rather pricey.

Marisa put together the bouqets for my wedding (myself, bridesmaid, grooms flowers and 2 flower girls). They were beautiful, although my bouquet was not exactly what I had in mind. I loved her versatility - fresh flowers with beads sewn in because my chosen blue flower was not in season/available at the time. She also provides a prompt delivery service which was a huge relief, because the last thing you want to worry about on the morning of your wedding is ... where are my flowers?! We got quotes from other places, but found Marisa to be very inexpensive in comparison. She has a professional showroom and clearly has a lot of experience.

After a family member had been in an accident in my car, the insurance company suggested this company. I found their customer service to be great and their mechanics were thorough, and it appeared they had done a great job. However, months later while on a road trip part of the front of the car came loose and was dragged ... it turns out the crash repairers had used plastic bolts and not the genuine parts and they had not been fitted properly. We were assured this would not have happened if the proper bolts were used. This was very disappointing because we then required further repairs at our own cost.
