This review is for Windmill Educational Toys & Equipment, Norwood SA

I love Windmill. They have a huge range of educational products for teachers, and for parents who want to give their children more assistance at home, and a huge range of toys from the simply fun ones, through to the educational toy range. They are on the expensive side for a lot of their products, but the quality is worth the money. The staff are really helpful and provide great advice. Kids love going to this shop, there is so much to explore.

This review is for Hampstead Hotel, Collinswood SA

I have been going to the Hampstead Hotel for years. I have always been a huge fan of the salad and vegetable bar. On my most recent visit, my first in a long while, things had been upgraded. You no longer line up when you arrive, order and grab a table ... you are now taken to your table, and orders taken at the table. They have certainly gone a little more up market. I usually enjoy my meals here, but found my last couple were average, but the vegetable bar is still fantastic. The value for money isnt too bad, not really any different to other hotels, and they have a decent sized menu. The staff are always very friendly and they are certainly not slow when it comes to bringing your meals out.

This review is for Ayers House Weddings & Events, Adelaide SA

My brother had his wedding reception at Ayers House, cocktail style. I thought it was great that because they had the Henry Ayers room we had access to the modern red bar outside the room, but found the service to be slow and the food to be a little on the ordinary side, not to mention we barely saw any food ... it seemed to only make rounds in certain areas of the room for the most part. A beautiful venue though and the bride and groom were happy which is the main thing.

This review is for YMCA, Walkerville SA

I have been going to the Walkerville YMCA (aka INEA YMCA) since I was a little girl. And in the last couple of years they have made some massive changes to the facilities and programs offered, making the centre even better. They offer a great after school care and vacation care program for primary school kids, several different programs for gymnastics, trampolining, fitness classes etc. They also offer basketball and squash courts, run kids parties (which they love) and more. They have recently started running a program called Stunt Monkeys which I cannot wait for my daughter to be old enough to try. There is something for everyone and I know the staff keep me motivated to get down there for a workout regularly.

This review is for St Andrews Church, Walkerville SA

verified email - 03 May 2012

My husband and I were married at St Andrew's Church and it was simply beautiful. The church is one of only a couple in Adelaide that have a full set of bells which sound beautiful when coming out of the church. The Archdeacon, Chris Chataway, adds his personal touches to the ceremony and personalises it to the two getting married. He likes to get to know who he is marrying. The church has recently (and almost finished) being restored just making the church even more beautiful (if that's even possible). The gardens are very well maintained and are great for photos.

This review is for Spotlight, Gepps Cross SA

I have been to Spotlight several times for various items. Each time I have found that there are usually not enough staff working and they don't always seem happy, but they do know their products and provide good advice. It is a big store with a wide range of products. In some areas, such as nursery bedding, the range is tiny, but for the most part, you can find what you want whether it's bedding, window furnishings, craft, party supplies etc. Always worth a look because their prices are competitive. They also have a members card.

This review is for Dr Darren Roberts, Rose Park SA

verified email - 03 May 2012

Dr Roberts (and his partner Dr Sexton) are both fantastic. They really care for their patients and provide a great service. Dr Roberts delivered my first child a couple years ago and now he is taking care of my baby and I during my second pregnancy. He takes his time during consultants and doesnt push aside your thoughts and feelings, he takes everything seriously, but he has a great sense of humour and a way to make you feel better about things and comfortable. The waiting time is usually no more than 5 minutes too, that is unless he has been called away to deliver a baby and falls behind during the day. Their staff are equally as brilliant. They are always happy and friendly and very professional. You can clearly see they love working for these two great doctors.

This review is for Chemmart, Collinswood SA

I have only recently started going to this chemist as it is more convenient to where I used to go. The staff are always really friendly and certainly know their products. Prescriptions are usually slightly cheaper than other places I have tried. They also have a decent range of cosmetics, hand bags, gifts etc ... they have more than medicine and first aid supplies.

This review is for St Peters Family Practice, St Peters SA

verified email - 02 May 2012

My family have been seeing Dr Pedler since I was a little girl (if not even before then). He is a great GP even if a little on the more expensive side. The practice nurses and staff are always very friendly and professional. The practice itself is very clean and inviting. An added bonus is, unlike 99% of other doctors I've dealt with over the years, the maximum waiting time is usually no more than 5 minutes.

This review is for Barbeques Galore, Gepps Cross SA

verified email - 02 May 2012

My husband and I were on the market for a new BBQ and we had heard great things about Barbecue's Galore. On our first visit, we had a lovely lady help us. She gave us a lot of advice and was very patient with us. When we back a second time, we had a lovely guy help us and he was the same, friendly and very helpful. They provide great customer service. It is nice to be serious about buying something but not to be 'pushed' by staff. It took us a long time to decide, but we finally made a decision and was offered a deal on a BBQ cover and cleaning set (not advertised), which was great. They not only have a fairly large range of BBQs, they have outdoor furniture and accessories too.
