I used to get all my meat here until the family free and the budget had to be cut back.

The range and quality are excelent as is the service. They will often prepare something for you if it is not ready right there.

Price wise they are at the upper end of the scale, not you do get what you pay for.

I miss the quality I used to get here but I just cannot afford them any more.

I pop in here occasionally on my way home between train and bus. They have a great range of slices and they are usually quiet so service is prompt and friendly.

Prices are expensive so I only buy when there is a bit more spare change in the kitty.

I found the sales service here fantastic. The salesman was available when he said he would be even though it was a busy day. The car was ready to go as promised and we were treated more like welcome guests than customers. I could say this is because we were likely to pay a large amount but if that is so then other dealers could take lessons from here.

Service has also been great with the team getting the car turnec around quick for my wife who had to kind a baby whilst she was waiting.

The exception was the last service which was less than satisfactory. Firstly when booking in they claimed I needed the 80k service and argued with me when I said we had only done 60k. Then they said we had missed a service when we had documented proof we had not. Finally when I asked for an estimate of cost they only quoted the parts so I got a rude shock when I got the bill with double the cost due to labour.

I am hoping this is one off as if there is any sign of this for the next service we will be going elsewhere.

Our dishwasher gave up the ghost due to a motor burnout. We called Unit appliances and on the phone the sounded great. Could get a service man out the next morning and was very confident they could repair it on the spot.

The service man turned up in the afternoon, not morning which did not impress my wife who had to cancel other appointments. despite a detailed description of the problem and unit type to the phone operator, none of this had been passed on to the tech guy who quite frankly was just rude.

He came in with barely an introduction. got down and looked at the diswasher and asked what the problem was. He looked around for a bit and then announced that he had to take it back to the nanufacturer to fix it. (we had called the manufacturer and was not impressed with their price or timelines. To find out that unit appliances were only going to act as a transport service to the manafacturer was not very impressive.

When he brought it back (two weeks later - longer than the original manafacturer quoted) he did a very poor job of installing it and the diswasher kept tipping forward everytime the door was opened. The tech was very surly to be called back to fix his own shoddy work and the repar only reduced the problem.

Thankfully we sold the house a couple of months later and when we needed a new dishwasher in the new house these guys did not get a lookin.

If you want service then I recommend you look elsewhere.

We purchased our new Honda here and they were lucky we even let.them quote. We visited on a Saturday afternoon. We were looking through their lot for 20 min, trying several cars.for size and comfort and we recieved no service.

We went inside to fond someone and found them all sitting at their desks. Even then once inside it took five minutes for.someone to coke over to assist.

By then my wife had enough and stormed off.

I called later in the week because they did have the make, model and colour we wanted. We arranged for a test drive at a specific time. When we arrived the car was not ready and we had to wait 20 minutes while finished some paperwork and then freed it from the lot for a test drive. After all this I told my wife that they would want to offer a very good price if I was to buy a car here.

It turns out that I did get a good price, but it was given by the fleet manager that was actually located in ringwood (but also covered Ferntree Gully. From here things went smoothly. The car was delivered to my door as specified and my wife was thrilled to finally get it. I am not confident that if I dealt only with the ferntree gully staff this would have happened.

We tried several Honda dealers when getting this car and this place was by far the worst for sales service and general appearance.

Hopefully the service centre will be better,if not then we will gladly sacrifice our extended warrenry to go where we know it is good.

My wife have been ordering foam, nappies, hugalugs etc from this site for two years. Sometimes delivery is a little slow but that is our only complaint.

The products are great and are always as described.

This is a self contained style accomodation on a farm.

It is great for families with little kids as they are allowed to pat and feed the animals.

There are three buildings for accomodation. I would only recommend the cabin if you are travelling light. There is not enough room for much more than your cases, but it us self contained and good value for a couple.

The cottages have multiple rooms with many beds in them . They are designed to hold a large party. The kitchens are a good size.

Margret has a way with kids and our two year old girl had to hold her hand whenever we fed the animals.

You can have as many eggs as you can get, but you need to supply the remainder of your own food.

There are bikes to borrow and a rail trail nearby. The location is very relaxing and a great way to get some quiet and keep the kids entertained.

This is a side business on a production farm. They specialised in soft cheeses but do a few hard cheeses as well.

I like their chillie soft cheese best.

If you time it right you can also get a tour of the milking shed as the cows are being milked and they have a few calves there for he kids.

Warning, this is a production farm not a petting zoo so whilst they keep
it clean you will get a few smells that are associated with a production farm.

I have been comming here for decades when I return to by roots. The Venus does not have the money that it had before gambling was made legal in Victoria, however unlike many it has maintained a standard. The smorgasboard is very nice and good value.

The venue is good for functions too.

I would recommend the roast of the day when eating there. It has nicer steered me wrong.

This place was renovated a few years ago and still retains a nice look.

When first renovated it was hard to get in as the food matched the decor but this has declined. I have been back twice in the fast year to get cold chips dry steak and vegetables best left at the side. Despite this it is not.the worst in the area but DD from the best.
