This review is for Hog's Breath Cafe, Adelaide SA

What to choose? Curly Fries, Calamari, Deep fried Mushrooms, or the combination entre plate, then for the mains one of the famous Hogs Breath slow cooked steaks, you are in for a treat, my two favorite Hogs Breath Steaks are with either tiger prawns on top, or Avocado with Bernaise sauce, if your a no sauce plain sort, then I can highly recommend the blackened steak.
All these things and an exciting restaurant with the number plates and all the Hogs parafanalia including a full sized red phone box, makes this a fun a wonderful place to eat. The service was fun, the guys made our evening fun, it had a great Vibe, the manager was saving for his own franchise and is a great Ambassador for Hogs Breath, this uniquely Australian steak restaurant chain and Adelaide City is a lovely place to eat.
Join the Frequent Diners club, members gets you a 25% discount off your main meal that makes the price of the meal feel about the right price, if you don't have the card you might think it is expensive.
Excellent drink service, exciting cocktails and marvelous desserts, Pavlova, or the choc Brownie are delicious all this helped us enjoy our evening here, it's a pity I don't get down to South Australia more often, I will definitely go again. I highly recommend this site.

This review is for Quadrant Restaurant, Sydney NSW

verified email - 25 Apr 2012

My partner and I dined at Quadrant last week and we were a little disappointed. Although the restaurant is located in a great area with lovely views of the harbour, there were a few negatives, firstly, as we arrived to reception the waiter knew we were there but continued his conversation to his other staff, It was quite rude. Though after this shakey start the service from our waiter was excellent and attentive.

One might regard the service after the slow start, too fast. Within 10 minutes of finishing our entree we had our main. I suppose they are used to people needing to go to an Opera as its near Sydney Opera House, but we where there for a relaxing evening so overall it felt as if they were rushing us to leave. We arrived at 7.30pm and we were finished everything by 8.30pm

The most annoying part of the whole evening, and we were lucky not to get a table with a support pillar in the way of the veiw, Was the constant thumping of a disco one level above with girls in heals clicking up and down the stairs, stairs that should be glassed or built in to avoid this noise and the ruining a relaxing night.

Finally the meals are small for what they're charging and my partners steak wasn't warm. I think in my opinion, because the restaurant is located within serviced suites they treat the service and meal as secondary.

Overall, I'm quite disappointed with our dinner experience and I won't be going back again. Quite a few people had vouchers and that's annoying when you see there trying to fill a place and your paying full price and half the tables are getting buy one get one free.

This review is for Red Lantern, Darlinghurst NSW

verified email - 25 Apr 2012

This was a very dissapointing experience I/We have been to Red Lantern twice now, and last time will be our final time. We had a table for six and made a booking for 6.30pm. Whilst we were eating our mains, the waiter came handed us the dessert menus and we were told that our table was needed shortly for another booking, they could have helped by not letting us wait 35 mins for our mains. This was never mentioned when I made the booking, yet the restaurant manager insisted that we would have been told at the time of the booking. This was just rude, and blatantly just calling me a liar, as i was never told anything of the sort and if I had been would have moved my booking to a later one, as I have a very good idea about how these things work.

The food is not special, it is high quality but nothing at all special and does not warrant the high prices that the restaurant demands. It really does show how marketing the owner on Ready Steady Cook can build a restaurant's reputation rather than actual food creativity, somewhere the plot has been lost since our 2010 visit. There are plenty of other competitors in Sydney that do exactly the same level food and have the same ambiance without the rude, poor service with attitude.

This review is for St Jays Recreation Centre, Salisbury SA

An excellent Facility with squash courts, a full sized basket ball indoor court, and there is Pilates classes, aerobics for different ages and children's club, check out the web site for times if you live in the Salisbury area. I go down to help with the Blue light dance which they hold every six months.
This is a very good clean recreation centre, though a little dated as it was built 50 years ago, but the floor in the basket ball court is state of the art modern.

This review is for Top Class Comfort Air Conditioning, Eastern Suburbs Mc NSW

Top Class Comfort Air Conditioning, TCC, not only do split and ducted air conditioning repairs and installation, service and install all models, But they service repair and install all Central Vacume Systems.
This is where I have used TCC they installed a central vacum system, it is brilliant, all you need is the hose attachment and plug in and go for it, our housekeeper loves it. I love it as its silent it really is, you wouldn't know from another room that someone is vacuuming.
They say they service all areas, I assume that's limited to the Sydney area. But they are good and will advise the best way to put in a system. The ideal is obviously to do it when your building I'm sure that would be the smarter more cost effective way, unlike putting it into a completed house, but they do as that's what I had done.

This is the ultimate Medical Pratice owned and run by the ultimate Professionals. I have been seeing Dr Gowers for over 15 years prior to him starting this Pratice with some partners at Mcleay Street medical centre. He has been here for 13 years and it is a brilliant all service practice. They have full diagnostic care, pathology, an X-ray and dental service on site, physio, Physcologists and more, the more is extremely Proffesional reception staff, with a great warm welcome and pleasant style.
I have been here many times and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes past my appointed time which is excellent.
They bulk pensioners and health care card customers and the rest is $75.00 of which you get a $36.50 medicare rebate

Approximate cost: $75.00 of which Medicare refunds $36.50
