I discovered Noble Dentist when I was looking for an affordable dentist in my area after having cracked a tooth. As I do not have health insurance, dentistry had been a bit of a luxury for me.. until now! Noble Dentist offers annual memberships as part of their program, which gives members huge discounts (ie 50%) of most dental proceedures with registered surgeries. Through Noble Dentist, I not only found a price list of all dental proceedures (taking the guesswork out of my next appointment), but also a list of reputable dentists in my area, which was helpful. I signed up at 5pm on one afternoon & saw my new dentist first thing the very next morning. The staff had called ahead of me, to ensure I got the full benefit of the membership discount, even though I had only joined a few hours earlier.

Having stayed in Stamford Plaza in Adelaide, we decided to continue on with the Stamford experience with a further week in Stamford Plaza Melbourne. We were upgraded to an executive suite and the room was luxuriously decorated, with a huge kitchen, lounge & dining area, seperate king sized bedroom & marble ensuite. The valet was efficient & made sure our bags arrived in our room before we did. We found the staff to be friendly & accomodating, & having stayed all across the world in the top hotels, we can definately say Stamford Plaza has earnt our loyalty (thanks to the staff at Stamford Plaza Adelaide). It's good to know what you're getting when you travel, it takes the guess work out of it.

Walking into Soda Rock is like stepping back in time.. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is fun, with the staff putting on a dance on the hour for some lighthearted fun (at their expense). If you're a fan of big, american food, you'll love soda rock - especially the chilli fries, hubcap burgers & hot dogs! And to top it all off, you can order all your childhood favourites, like spiders & malted milkshakes. It's a great option for fun dining experience.

We've discovered the Goldsteins 'experience' & their pies are so incredible that we are willing to drive an hour to the coast just to have lunch there! We recommend the chicken & vegetable pie & the brocilli & cauliflour pie - just a warning though... Once you taste one, you'll want more!! They do mashed potato & gravy with their pies, as well as mashed peas - it's definately an aussie institution!

This store has a great range of new releases that are constantly being added to, & as well as the old favourites that everyone likes to watch again & again. We've also discovered cheap Tuesdays at our local blockbuster store. You can save a fortune if you want to make Tuesday your new night in!

Sometimes late on a Friday afternoon you wish that you'd had the foresight to get away for the weekend. But with last minute accomodation to book, & sometimes travel to organise, it's seems impossible. Oh well.... Enter wotif.com.au. Even though I have been living interstate for 3 years, I always go home to get my hair done. These guys are excellent, whether its colouring, cutting or just a conditioning treatment, it's a great environment to relax & be pampered. I have long, hair, so they always straighten if for me after a wash, which I love!

This Montezumas store is the best I've eaten at - their vegetarian burritos are incredible, & the meals are huge, most coming with sides of rice & bean salsa. I've eaten at other Montezumas restaurants, & none compare to the Taringa store. Also, once a year with their birthday club, you can eat their free, in honour of your birthday. It's a nice, family atmosphere, I'd recommend it!

Love the in flight entertainment on Qantas flights - it makes the time fly by! Also like the Qantas lounge, which is a relaxing way to wait for your flight in the airport - away from the crowds, with a coffee & a magazine. Also they are the only provider in Australia now to serve complimentary food & beverages in-flight, which all adds to the experience up in the air.
