Definitely a better experience than Optus offer, overall.
Telstra seem to have their stuff together in the back-end (eg systems work properly and apply credits and special offers properly rather than needing manual intervention). Their offers are competitive and quite agressive particularly on the fixed product front.
The multitude of departments is irritating when you are trying to get through to the right area if your enquiry is 'non standard' and some staff are quite rude and deliberately unhelpful - cold-transferring you to other areas just to get rid of you. But then there are others that are helpful and nice to make up for the rude ones.
Cable broadband is the best - extremely fast and better speeds than any other carriers can offer.

Unfortunately I think these guys have gone downhill fast in the past 1-3 years.
They used to have innovative offers and products, but now they seem to be on the back foot and chasing their tails to keep up with the other competitors.
They also used to actually try to keep their customers, but now they seem to have so many rigid processes in place that it can seem as though they dont really want to keep their customers.
For example recently I upgraded my mobile phones online (December) and was supposed to receive 2 months access free. Each month since then I had to phone them to ask them why the credit was not on my bill, and each time I was fobbed off saying that I should call back the following month. The customer service staff kept saying that they had processes to follow and that they could not credit the amount I was owed as it was 'not their fault' and they would often blame the 'sales staff' for 'not doing their job' - I think they need to stop working as seperate areas and start working together and come up with some innovative products.
I recently moved my broadband and landline to Telstra as Optus really can't compete on the fixed product front.

Really love this place!
Lovely atmosphere, always busy and bustling but you can invariably find a quiet romantic and dark corner if you want to.
Upstairs there is an outdoor balcony that is lovely on a warm night - a bit cold in winter though.
The coffee here is second to none, and they have a melted chocolate fountain which is amazing,
A lovely, warm, atmospheric place to go after dinner for a yummy desert or coffee.
The only down-side is that sometimes there is quite a long line (due to popularity) and you have to wait for a fairly long while to order and to receive your order, but the staff usually warn you of this when you get to the counter if there are delays.
Also I have been disappointed in the past with how early this place closes - I wish they would stay open later (usually I think they shut at around 9 on weeknights and 10 on weekends which is really too early for a desert place)

There is a reasonably selection of products here.
Things haven't really changed here in years (apart from getting a new weight loss clinic on-site). It would be good if this pharmacy could try some new product lines / different kinds of make-up eg Revlon or Mac.
The staff are quite helpful and always come up to see if they can offer any assistance.
The prices are not very good here - I think because they offer Health Partners 20% discount and also now have a free - to - join members program where everyone can get 20% off everything, they have bumped up the prices so that they don't lose money with this. This is unfortunate though as they used to be quite competitive but now I would really recommend shopping at Chemist King or Discount Pharmacies as they are cheaper even after the 'special 20% discount' has been applied for members.
For example I bought 100 Elevit with Iodine tablets at this chemist and they were over $80 - whereas I was at Chemist King recently and their were only $54.
So in summary I now only shop here because they are close to my home and if I need advice from a friendly sales person, but if I'm going near Chemist King or Discount Pharmacies then I usually try to go there to save money.

Exceptional quality foods. Donut holes are outstandingly yummy - soft and sugary and moist.
Nice ladies offer excellent service, advice and will even make cakes according to your request.
The prices are satisfactory but seem to have gone up heaps in the past few years - for example a smallish sized cheesecake used to be only around $8 which was amazing, but now they are more like $18.
The cheesecakes are really nice though - particularly the blueberry one with the chocolate cake base.
Very very yummy pies and pasties - always nice and fresh and the chunky meat pies contain a good amount of meat and the meat is good quality and not fatty which is lovely for a change (often other bakeries will put 1 piece of chunky meat in a pie and there is often gristle in it - you won't get that here!)
In summary, a lovely array of cakes and sweets and there is also a little (although seemingly mostly unused) dine-in area too.

This bakery offers a good array of cakes and hot food, along with fresh breads and hot & cold drinks.
They have a few tables and chairs so that you can eat in if you wish also.
Their value for money is excellent - you can get a whole slab of mudcake or many other cakes of your choice for around $6, and their pies and pasties around around $4 each.
I find that if I am running late for something and I need to bring something but haven't had time to make something, I can duck in here and get a pretty nice looking cake or slice to bring with me and they will put it in a nice white box too - all for less than $10.
Coffee is nice, and the staff are friendly and smiley.
Bread is very cheap & always fresh and tasty.

I love this restaurant and have been going here on and off for the past 12 or so years.
Definitely not an overly fancy restaurant (plain decor and standard Italian cuisine on the menu that's presented in a pretty standard way), but the food itself is always cooked extermely well and tastes amazing. The staff are really friendly and make an effort to give excellent service.
My favourite is the filet mignon and the bruschetta is really yummy.
I would give it a thumbs up for continuing to serve comforting, warm, Italian cuisine and not trying too hard to be different or to match other fancier restaurants nearby.
Deserts are nice and often the waiters will come out with a little platter of deserts for you to view and choose from which is a nice touch.

A pretty average venue - they have a nice outdoor dining area where it's nice to spend time on sunny days, but when you dine indoors it is not very atmospheric (very noisy and the decor is like a fast food restaurant). The food is ok - almost identical to Cafe Primo's menu and food. The risotto is not very nice - pretty sloppy, but the schnitzels and fried foods are nice and have some nice creamy sauces (for example for schnitzel with prawns and creamy sauce is nice).
The deserts are really nice and there is a good selection. I would recommend their cheesecakes anyday. Staff seem relatively friendly but nothing to write home about.

I shop here every week and have done for the past approx 10 years.
I really don't like going to the larger supermarkets particularly at nearby Marion shopping centre due to their large lines and pushy people.
Here at Brighton foodland I find that the supermarket is really friendly, with really nice staff who make an effort to talk to you and build rapport with you while they scan your groceries. The lines are never long - even when I go shopping on Sundays or Saturdays, as 'all hands are on deck' and staff immediately make a point to open extra registers the minute they see someone waiting (even if you've only been waiting for 30 seconds!).
The range of products is excellent and they have all the good brands (I really hate how Coles and Woolworths are trying to force people to buy their homebrand products - this is not the case at Foodland).
The prices are excellent and I find that many of the products are cheaper at Brighton foodland than they are at other nearby supermarkets. The fruit and veg are always extremely fresh, and the staff help you find things if you ask them for help - they will often go out the back to look for things if you can't find them on the shelves for any reason.
Carparking has recently been expanded too, so you can easily find a park.
I love this supermarket!!!

We went here for the first time around 2 weeks ago as I had an Entertainment book voucher to use... I was hugely impressed! To think that I have lived only around 2km away for the past 10 years and haven't ever gone there! The quality of the salad bar was amazing - a huge array of free food that comes with any main course (soups, hot veggie and potato bake type dishes, breads, salads and more). The staff were really friendly and conversational, and it was quite easy to access the hotel and get a park (this was the reason we had not gone before - because it's in a busy area and we assumed it would be hard to find parking).
It was a lovely surprise to find that we have another excellent dining venue nearby and we will be going again.
Highly recommend.
