Had been looking for a general printing company & was recommended DD Digital by an existing customer. In just over a week I got a very competitive quote, received a sample, and had 5000 perfectly printed stickers personally delivered to my door Chris.

I use lots of white Apli swing tickets for my business, and have been searching for a company that could supply them in bulk and cheaply. Office Metro sells these swing tickets at least 25% less than in the shops, and they offer free delivery. They have a large range of other stationary item also. Their website is easy to navigate.

Last night I went out to a great vegetarian pizza place in Brunswick called Bar Fred. The pizzas are thin, simple, very yummy and only $10 each ! Some of the toppings we had were 'Green Olives, Chilli & Rocket', 'Roasted Eggplant & Cherry Tomatoes', ' 4 Cheeses & Mushrooms'. They have a HUGE selection of beers too, but I had a very decent glass off Cab Merlot for only $6.50.
The decore is nothing flash, but you don't care when the food is so good and cheap!

This review is for MADE Cafe, Flemington VIC

I heard about MADE cafe as I am trying use local knowledge to find out who makes the best coffee in the Kensington/Flemington area. On Wednesday I heard about MADE cafe, and on Thurday I made it my mission to check them out. They are located on the quite funky Pin Oak Stree in Flemingtont- it took awhile to find them, but only beacuse I keep stopping to check out the shops along the way.
MADE cafe is very compact, with a small fully open kitchen. I had soy latte, which was very smooth and easy to drink. I had a quick look at their menu, and found many things that I will go back to order next time. While enjoying my coffee in the front window, I was especially impressed to find that they have the lastest copy of Frankie mag for customers to read. The place had a really lovely feel about it, but probably not suitable for large groups though, as there were only about 5 small tables inside.

The colder months always bring out my desire for a glass of Red wine and last week I decided to give my local clearskin shop ago. I noticed a $6.50 bottle and asked the owner what it was like compared to the next one up ($10). l was advised to go for the $10 Margaret River 2003 Cabernet Merlot, and was not dissapointed- it is very easy drinking and made even tastier by the fact that the whole bottle cost what I have paid for a single glass of wine out! I have since been back for another bottle and have also used it to add a lovely richness to a spag bol sauce.

Dave is the first physio that I have been to, as I had previously only seen chiros. The first difference I noticed was a more gentle approach- no more neck and back crunches ! - which I had always thought were the only treatment. I started going to Dave because of a knee complaint, and was worried that I wouldn't be able do the "Run for the Kids". He has a lot of experience with sports injuries and after a few sessions my knees were strong enough to complete the 14 km run while experiencing very little pain. I am now receiving treatment on my back and neck, which was causing me headaches. The headaches are now gone, and I am sure that the with better posture and occasional treatments the stiffness will be gone for good!

This review is for Adore Beauty, Brunswick West VIC

My Dad put me on to Adore Beauty, as we were trying to track down a tooth whitening product from America. They have a website, which is very easy to navigate through and order from, or you can arange to pick up the item from their shop in North Carlton. The staff were very helpful, and even gave me a few tips on applying my other makeup. It is however very easy to be tempted to buy their other ranges....I also left the store with a new OPI nail polish. Their prices seem very reasonable, and compare very well to ordering straight from the manufactures' website.

This review is for Fire Up! Fitness, Port Melbourne VIC

I got hooked on Fire Up Fitness's group training groups from the very first session. They are fun, and the trainers soon work out how to push you even further than you think you could go. Each session is run by qualified personal trainers who are also past or present police officers or fire fighters. I very quickly looked forward to getting up at 6 am 3 mornings a week to work out in St Kilda, the City or Hampton. The groups ranged in size from 10 to 60, and I always worked hard and really felt great by the end of the session.
I have completed 3 of their 5 week programs and really felt that they improved my fitness and overall motivation. I am not currently enrolled as I have been on holidays.
They also have a studio in Port Melbourne for more one on- one- training.

This review is for A Perfect Drop, Daylesford VIC

verified email - 13 May 2008

I heard about A Perfect Drop twice in one week, so decided I had to check it out. It is a funky wine bar 5 mins walk from the main street of Daylesford. It has a rustic, comfy unpretentious feel to it. There are big lounges to relax on, walls displaying revolving art exhibitions, and fire places which are lit once the sun goes down. They are very passionate about there wines, offering many local drops- I had a glass of a local Nebblio variety ($5) and a cheese platter ($12.50)- which were both perfect in size and taste. Great to see that there is finally an alternative to pubs and expensive places in Daylesford.
