A great place for greasy chicken soaked in sauce with a good jug of beer! Good value and recommended to dine in a good size group so you get to try all the flavours of chicken. A good night out and reflects good value!

I don't understand why the long wait for this establishment. Prices are high, small servings on food that is just ok. My favorite item was the grilled corn (to best I have ever eaten) but other than that I would not be back. Yes they claim this is based on fresh and healthy Mexican - not the fatty, cheesy tex-mex but there didn't seem to be much skill to these dishes... So why are the long lines for Mamasita???

A really beautiful fit out and Neil Perry has done well. Had the yum cha and it was ok. Prices are a lot higher than the general yum cha places but I guess we were paying for the knowledgeable service staff, impeccable timing and high quality ingredients.
Look, it's not really fair to compare it to your standard yum cha joint because you will find the flavours will be different. In all fairness, I think Spice Temple tries to take it to another level in that you order off the menu and the chefs make to order. Some of the ingredients are so fresh and of high quality, it's almost a sin to find it seasoned as it arrives to your table.
Food was good in a contemporary, yum cha inspired type of way. Decor was gorgeous, many drinks to choose from and had individual descriptions. I actually think it was an 'arty', culinary adventure. Just expect this and you won't be disappointed!

I have given Chin Chin many chances to redeem themselves (3 in fact!) and I really want to like this place but it always misses the mark based on TASTE! The flavours in most of their dishes are not balanced and tend to be very salty. I don't understand why it is always so busy. The menu looks impressive but I am consistently disappointed.
To be fair of the 3 times I have dined there, I enjoyed 1 or 2 out of the minimum 5 dishes we have ordered but this is not good enough.
The service is great and they are attentive and 'get' the customer and anticipate.
Have made comments to the waitstaff but the taste still does not improve.
Would love to come back to bring my Melbourne visitors but at the moment, Chin Chin doesn't cut it for me plus there are way too many places that are better buddy.

This is an excellent 5 star hotel with 5 star facilities. We had the Serenity Shen couples package and the service was excellent. We were given robes and sandals to change into and advised to arrive 15 to 30 mins prior to make use of the complimentary tri-bathing ritual.
The gym and spa were amazing as we soaked in the beautiful views of Flinders Street.
We had herbal teas as we filled out the questionnaire which determined the type of massage and facial we would get.
Once this was completed we were lead into the our treatment room which was like a relaxation room with our private shower and toilet and a nice soak in the geisha tub as we snacked on delicious canapes and sipped on a really delightful lychee juice drink.
The treatments (massage and facial) were amazing and you can definitely see why the pricing is higher than your standard suburban salons.
In summary, if you are looking for a place to really indulge with your girlfriends, to treat yourself or your partner -- THIS IS THE PLACE! One of the best spas in Australia.

If it's for a special occasion, I would just do it in style at the absolutely grand and opulent Langham Hotel, Melbourne.

Highly recommended!

The Melbourne Central Looksmart store has a great attitude and is of great quality and workmanship. Other alterations in Melbourne Central hike up the prices and have poor customer service. Had my formalwear altered here and they gave some good advice in maintaining the style of the dress without cutting out too much. I have also used them to input pockets in my winter jackets and get pants/jeans hemmed up. Seems like a small family business and will keep going back given the friendly service and prices!

Another hidden Melbourne gem that screams 'Melbourne'. An industrially cool fit-out with great coffee. If you're lucky you might get a pretty picture in your milky froth. Bagels and soup are delicious (if soup / bagels are your thing)!

Wonderful service and coffee. Had the Reuben sandwich and it was delicious.
A NYC fitout in the artsy Cullen Hotel. Will be back for weekend brunches or dinner. Would recommend for a little touch of New York.

Sean was fantastic to deal with. He answered all our questions promptly and was very organised with a wedding DJ plan to make our reception run as smoothly as possible. Also provided lighting and smoke machine and worked a treat! Our DJ had a positive attitude and really set the scene for our special day. Outstanding value for money, highly recommend this for your wedding or special event.

Fantastic customer service from Fiona. She provided superb styling advice for my wedding and their centrepieces were gorgeous. Linen and chair sash colour choices were extensive and she played with different looks based on the venue, wedding theme and our personalities. Also hired the wishing well that had a lock. To all the potential brides, I recommend Decorit as it had great service and easy communication.
