Enjoyed the noodles here. Broth was very rich and sticky to the lips after eating - which indicates a very flavoursome and hearty broth. I like how they keep the menu simple and focus on broth, ramen and toppings.
Sometimes one serve is not enough so there is an option of asking for a free noodle (kaedama) refill with every soup noodle purchase.
Gyozas were pretty good too - quite authentic tasting.
Service is efficient as it should be expected in a traditional Japanese establishment - will be back.
One of the few places that prove that lines are a good sign of good food!

Came here expecting a similar standard to its CBD store but was very disappointed. We ordered the gyudon (beef on rice) and the yakisoba wrapped in omelette.
Taste wise - both failed and does not taste authentic. Just felt like they did not put enough sauce and flavour in the meals and will not be back. Rather disappointed and explains why it is relatively empty. Not worth the price.

A great little cafe featuring local produce. Highlight was the scrambled eggs in truffle oil with pork and fennel sausages. Very moreish and delicious.
Highly recommended for a honestly great food.

Food and cakes looked and tasted delicious! Located in a quiet little side street and it's good that there is no queue. Service was attentive and friendly. Great shopfront and cool fit-out.
Cakes are delectable! Will be back for more!

Lovely traditional Italian warmth. Recommended to get a table outside in beautiful Summer weather. The staff are very hospitable and pizzas were great! Pastas were ok but not as good as the pizzas with their traditional dough base. I liked how the base was not too thick or thin.
Would definitely be back for more pizza on a Summer's evening!

Try the house made udon noodles here. Stock is flavoursome but elegant - it's not loaded in MSG and salt.
Service is good with an extensive menu.
Ingredients tasted fresh and delicious.
Not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for - great produce at an honest price.
Only down side was the seating on little stools inside - probably not the best option for taller folk.
Recommended for a Japanese inspired brekkie or lunch.

There is a real hype about this little establishment and the lines of people waiting at meal times is very evident.

Popular as this is a rather cute and unique Korean BBQ restaurant we were lured in by its popularity. They offer 2 different BBQ sets, one with 8 types of pork belly and another featuring a beef selection (serving 2-3 people per BBQ set). These 2 sets come with sides, rice and a traditional stew etc.

They also had a good sharing menu with dumplings and stone bowl meals like bibimbap.

We came here on a hot day and it was like roasting in a little hot box. Good atmosphere if you like it loud but would recommend coming on a cold day to keep you warm and more comfort.

Approx. $25-30 per person which is a pretty good price given the amount of food you get. Taste-wise is ok - not amazing but not bad either. All in all, we did not understand why the long lines.

The staff are friendly and easy to communicate with.

Try to pop in just before or, at meal time to avoid the queues. Otherwise, self-serve by leaving your name on the clip board outside and take a number.

Chloe's bar is a great place to catch up with friends, music is not too loud with nice seats and nooks to sit and people watch.
Expect standard drink pricing for the CBD. Ordered some tapas (calamari, mixed tapas platter) and have to say they were ordinary. Ordered 2 bowls of chips and both looked different. One bowl was limp like soggy biscuits and the other was over-fried. I was rather alarmed if you can't get chips right, what hope is there in the kitchen?!? Perhaps the chef was off and it was a bad day, but there is no excuse for paying customers.

Come here for a quiet drink in nice surrounds in the heart of the city - food is not really recommended unfortunately.

A Japanese-run restaurant featuring the Berkshire Black pig - also known to be one of the finest meats to Japan.
Have come here a number of times and always satisfies.
Recommend the Tonkatsu pork loin (done the right way and you will not look at crumbed pork the same way again), the potato and kurobuta pork croquettes (accompanying sauces are out of this world with just the right amount of crunch) and the pork belly. For an extra $7 you can upgrade to the set with a salad, rice, miso soup and accompaniments.

This is no cheap and nasty Japanese eatery. It really is a place for people that like to appreciate the care and respect Kurobuta pork is prepared and tastes sensational.

Staff are relatively attentive as expected in traditional Japanese dining so you would expect to pay just a tad more to enjoy your expertly prepared meal in nice surrounds.

Bookings recommended as this is a small establishment and have watched many walk-ins get turned away - very sad as this place should get all the raves it deserves.

A great little Thai place - recently opened with an extensive menu. Tried the Thai Milk Tea, Grilled Pork, Pork Hock and slow- braised Beef Massaman Curry with coconut rice. Flavours were wonderful and not too sweet like the general Thai restaurants. Prices are standard and the quality of ingredients were great.

Was recommended by a Thai friend and looking forward to returning again soon.
