The best Thai in miles around! Fantastic, high quality meals & reasonable prices. Reviews in the Good Food Guide & I can see why. I have friends who travel from the city specially for their Duck Red Curry. Only wish they would still deliver!

Hong Kong has a huge selection of Asian food supplies. There is a small fresh area with hard to find Asian vegetables. A massive array of frozen & refrigerated foods. Various non perishables are stocked in "regions" (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Malay, Indian etc) making items easy to find. If they haven't got what you need they will often get it in for you. Staff always busy but always happy to help & show you were to find what you are looking for or alternatives.

Great for a quick cheap feed. Service is quick but not particularly friendly! We always have the BBQ pork egg noodles. Huge serving of BBQ pork in a chicken broth clear soup. Excellent value at only $10. Their dumplings are generous. They have really good value set menus at approx $18/head which include choice of entree, choice of main, rice & desert.

This is a hidden bakery in that it does not appear on the Beead Kingdom website nor on a google search but it exists!!!! I shop here regularly! The bakery opened a year ago or so. Much of the breads are in a similar style to Bread Top. This is a Korean run bakery so they also have many Korean drinks (ice teas & juices) as well as a small seating area. They have more sweet breads than bread top. They make lovely cakes & will personalize them with Birthday messages & candles for no extra charge.

Small family run bakery. The breads are Korean / Japanese style. Many small individual sweet breads & cakes. I love their choux cream & their sweet red bean buns. Similar in style as Breadtop but on a smaller, less mass produced style.

Really bright and colourful, spacious cafe. Exellent coffee. I had the eggs benedict with atlantic salmon which was sensational. Service is a bit hit and miss and certainly on the slow side but very friendly and smiley so you tend to forgive them. Extensive menu which they were happy to tweak for the kids. Also brought colouring in pencils and some paper to keep the little ones entertained.

Approximate cost: $15-20

We dine here regularly and find the food very authentic and well priced. The decor is simple and the staff only speak limited English. We always order the Cook-it-yourself Korean BBQ. When you arrive they bring to the table an assortment of Korean appitizers - my favourite is the sweet potato.
