Way overpriced. Ordered the fish and chips at a cost of $18 you should definitely get more. 4 small pieces of fish and some chips. Better off going to the local fish and chippery. The seats had either salt of sugar on them and I had to brush it off before I sat down. The arm-rest pockets had some chip wrappers in them and had a strong smell of salt and vinegar so i closed it quite quickly. The seats do recline, but for $39.50 per ticket the seats should be clean and empty. The table in the middle is too small if two people want something to eat and drink.

My wonderful fiancee took me hear for my surprise birthday treat! And I wasn't disappointed! The area is absolutely gorgeous, and if we could move there tomorrow, I wouldn't hesitate!! We arrived about 10:15am so had a wonder around and had a sticky beak in the lovely little gift shops that are numerous. While waiting for it to open, the crowd became bigger. We knew this as we had read reviews that mentioned a long waiting time. We were lucky to get a window table almost first. The doors opened right on 11am. As there are no bookings taken, and it is quite a snug venue, I noticed some people with groups of more than 4 were told to wait a minute so they could put some table together (Those patrons weren't at all happy about that!). As they crowd filled the tearoom up very quickly, those at the back were told of the approximate wait time and they could leave their name, if they wished to dine there. Most were fine with that. Yes it was busy, but not raucous or deafening. It was an audible chatter that added to the atmosphere. Our waiter was efficient and polite. I wasn't that hungry so ordered the garden salad, while my fiancee ordered the beef cottage pie. To drink he had a raspberry and I a pot of Yorkshire tea. We didn't have to wait long. My salad was substantial, fresh and quite nice. The dressing was stated as no oil dressing and was quite refreshing (although a wee bit sweet for me). Fiancee thought the cottage pie was nice. He said there was more potato than anything, but overall it was pleasant. The prices are.....well...yes....a bit out there! I mean, For the same price at another place you would get 3 times as much! I would've like to have tried the scones (which I noticed were like a big cake cut into squares), but the salad was quite enough for moi.
So, overall it was a cute, quaint little tearoom with efficient and friendly staff. It would be great if they had a wider repertoire, say using seasonal produce throughout the year, and the prices could be more suited to what you order/get. I guess it's been working for them for a while, they're always busy, so why change a good thing. If you're a fan of old English charm, Agatha Christie and tea pots, it's a beautiful drive.

I take my car there as they repair only what is needed and what you ask for to be done to the car, if something else is wrong they will call you up and ask if you want it fixed. Reasonably priced compared to other major mechanics around.

The burgers are very good, and the chips are very nice as well.
The burger was not too large, and not too small. However when combined with the chips you get a relatively large meal. This is however not a bad thing as you will not leave hungry.

The burgers are tasty and really good. They have real food in them as well.
The chips while not an overly large size do tend to fill you up when you have a burger as well. The staff are friendly and know what they are doing.

The food was certainly large, not overly large though. The burgers were great.
The dessert was also good, apple crumble not too sweet and pecan pie really nice.

Took my old car there to get it serviced several times as it was overheating. The first time they replaced various bits and pieces and told me it was fixed, the second time i made sure they told me before they replaced anything. One of the things they wanted to replace was something that they had previously replaced and should not have broken down in the time between the 2 services. I did argue this and they did offer to replace the parts for me at 'trade prices' however I did not want to risk it so I went elsewhere. I now have another car(ford) which I get serviced elsewhere and is significantly cheaper than this place.

Have been there several time to buy a laptop, office chairs, a printer etc. They have a great section of things that are reduced that I usually peruse through. I did buy a dlink wireless modem which did not work and they gave me a refund after I informed them that it did not work.

I went there to buy an mp3 player which they had on special, took a bit to get served as they always seem to be somewhat busy. I did get the mp3 player which works as expected. Went there another 2 times for car speakers, the first time they had them in stock and I bought a pair which work great, the second time I searched only to have to ask someone where they were and was told that all the car audio stuff had been shifted to their Brighton branch. It would have been good to read a notice at the front of the store saying that the car audio gear had been moved to Brighton as it would have saved me 5-10 minutes of searching in store and then another 5 searching for an attendant.

I bought an air-conditioner from these guys. It was the last one there, and the display, they did knock some off the price for that, however a manual would have been good, perhaps they got rid of it with the box. They usually have some good deals on games every now and then. Also bought an ADSL filter from them, which works well and it was priced reasonably(everyone else was about the same)
