the ambience here is just like that of Vietnam... and the pho is sUpErB!! You've gotta head here if you're after a super delicious bowl of authentic Viet pho. The broth is awesome.
The pit-stop between Canberra and Sydney, so i felt that there was little choice along the route for a break/snack/coffee. Their bread, cakes and pies are decent although I really didn't like much of the rest. Coffee was strong (which is good for driving) but still bitter after adding milk and sugar.
Super spicy sichuan food is what i need all winter and this restaurant hits the spot as they turn on the heat on my dishes, as requested. The service is very friendly and personable. We'll definitely be back (often)!!
the coffee and macarons are top notch here. i'll definitely be back for more of their food :)
they seem to be a little short-staffed as no one was at the wine/gourmet food section to help.
Great location, delicious food and nice ambience (inside or out) although they can run out of clean cutlery and forget to bring your water... but service is generally ok :)
Great for a cheap eat in Dickson. This is a Roast Inn, so get the roast meats!! The portion is also bigger so it's truly satisfying (or you could ask them to doggy bag whatever you can't finish)!
I really don't think this is the best noodle place in town given that we weren't too impressed with the wok-fried flat rice noodle and the combination noodle soup. It's good but not great.
I'm super fussy when it comes to chocolate and unfortunately, Max Brenner doesn't compare to Koko Black. Don't get me wrong, Max Brenner does a good chocolate (although I find it too sweet for me and I don't fancy the taste of the chocolate as much as other gourmet chocolate places) and the waffles and fondue are good.
It is always packed at night so try to get in early or be willing to queue for your chocolate :)
Be prepared to wait in line because it's always busy no matter what time you visit this shop.
Taro balls aren't my thing but taro mesh is! So look for items with taro mesh in it if you love real taro as much as me :)
a friendly ambience and decent malaysian food can be had here although it isn't as good as we'd expected it to be (given the rave reviews elsewhere). the kuehs looked unappetizing, laksa was off, nasi lemak was better than most but not great.
