This review is for Cafeteria Luis - Boulangerie Patisserie, Moonee Ponds VIC

This café has always been consistently great. Fantastic French options - both savoury and sweet. Terrific coffee and friendly staff. This café has now closed down now and has been rebranded under the new name of "Dolce Vita". Same great service and staff but new menu options that are still terrific.

Approximate cost: $15

This café is also listed as Cafeteria Luis - Boulangerie Patisserie on Word of Mouth. Have been frequenting this café for several years. Coffee, meals and sweets are always great here. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Great place for something French!

Have dined here on several occasions as well as private family celebrations here. It is a true "fine dining" establishment in Moonee Ponds - which are hard to find in the area.
They use quality produce; food is cooked to perfection; and is tastefully presented. Staff are professional, friendly and unobtrusive. Great for special occasions.

This review is for Nabiha, Moonee Ponds VIC

Nabiha was my regular coffee shop for my work day coffee fix. They served the best coffee not only in Moonee Ponds, but in my opinion, in the greater Melbourne region. They had a small but ample food menu and managed to make it work despite having a tiny kitchen. Unfortunately, Nabiha has closed down. It will be missed in Moonee Ponds!

I attended here for a quick lunch last week. It is a large, busy café in the main street of Moonee Ponds. It has a wide range of food options that are ok but nothing to write home about. Service was good and prompt. Once again, it is ok but average. Not sure if I'd return as there are many other options in the area.

Signed up for a 12 month membership that wasn't the cheapest compared to other gyms in the local area. Gym equipment is clean, new and ample. Large open areas. One major difficulty I had with this gym - that has caused me to not attend as often and now, not to renew my membership - is that many of the fitness advisors push and nag you to sign up to personal training sessions. These are at an additional cost (which is fair enough - I don't expect the PT's to work for free) but when the annual gym fees are just under almost $1000, it is a bit much to expect further outlaying of funds. Rather than focusing on supporting and motivating clients to make better use of their time and technique with the equipment during gym sessions, the conversations always returned to when can we sign you up for PT sessions! Very frustrating and annoying.

Great, satisfactory local play centre. Have been here many times over the past 7 years. Staff can be hit and miss at times with their attitude but overall do try to do their best. Similarly, the level of cleanliness and hygiene is variable but as it is not a brand new play centre, some wear and tear and stains are to be expected.

Have dined here on several occasions all at different times - brunch, lunch and dinner - and also with different company - with my partner; with a group of friends; and with the extended family for a function.

Meals are of a good standard but can be more expensive than other establishments in the local area; the service is always hit and miss - staff are polite in general but can be a bit distant/distracted (haven't been able to work out why) and it isn't unusual to have to wait longer than normal for meals - a bit of prompting generally gets the kitchen moving.

Despite the service issues, I do keep returning as it is a lovely location overlooking the river and parkland.

P.S. Gary's deconstructed cheese cake is to die for! If for no other reason, go at least once to try this amazing dessert!

A busy, bustling, traditional Italian "Pasticceria" with all the traditional offerings of Italian biscuits, pastries, cakes and gelato.

Their cakes, biscuits and pastries are wonderfully delicious and made the "traditional way" - brings back lots of happy memories of my time in Italy.

It can get very busy on weekends and during holiday events such as Christmas and Easter. They do recommend pre-booking orders during peak times to avoid disappointment.

This was a great, high quality bakery in Moonee Ponds. Unfortunately, it has now closed down. A fish and chip café is now run from this location.
