I had a couples massage here once. The environment is very soothing and relaxing, and I enjoyed having a foot soak etc prior to the massage. Unfortunately the masseuse didn't have good technique and kept tickling me - she didn't change her massage pressure etc or move to try not to tickle me so I ended up not enjoying the massage and cringing the whole time.
I'm sure other masseurs there would be different. I'd probably try it again if someone gave me a gift voucher there, but it wouldn't be my first preference.

I have used this mechanic for the last few car services and have been very pleased with the result.
I often walk past this mechanic and they regularly have expensive cars, Targa Tasmania race cars etc, which probably says something about the high quality of service they offer.

I use to get my car serviced at DJ Nissan regularly but no longer use them after a number of disappointing experiences.

On one occasion when I was getting something simple fixed, what should have taken a day took them a week! They had to order a part in and didn't do that early enough, then they broke the replacement part and had to order another one, they had problems with their mechanic turning up, and on and on the problems went.
As this was our only car, we were very annoyed. Eventually they let us borrow one of their cars, but we had to drop it back each morning and pick it up each afternoon as they needed it during the day. Hassle!

I used this practice when I had a sports injury and the physio Jason was very helpful. I was also referred to the physio Jane when I was pregnant as she is one of the few physios in Hobart who specialise in pelvic floor muscles. I found it difficult to get in to see Jane as she is very popular, so I didn't end up seeing her during my pregnancy as my problem wasn't too severe.
I would definately use this practice again as it's relatively easy to get an appointment and there's plenty of free parking nearby.

Small salon, which is very convenient if you work near Salamanca. The guy is very friendly and is usually on time. It's usually fairly easy to get an appointment if you're flexible about times.
The salon regularly displays artwork by local university students, so there's always something new to look at and talk about, or buy if you like it - better than reading a trashy magazine!

This is a relatively small shop which offers advice on what type of medical insurance best meets your current and future health needs, including life insurance and travel insurance.

The wait time is generally pretty quick. If you do need to wait it's easy enough to do your other shopping at Eastlands and come back later.

I attended this surgery for fertility treatment.
Dr Watkins is very friendly and approachable and takes the time to explain everything. He builds trust with his patients and achieves results.

Dr Watkins sees patients in St Helens and in his nearby offices in Hampden Road.
Both Dr Watkins and the nurses are very helpful and explain things well.
He knows what he's doing and achieves results!

The Sydenham medical centre has a number of doctors available, so it is easier than some other places to get an appointment.

The doctors do not generally run too late, and there is plenty of space to sit and wait. The doctors provide fast and friendly service.

The practice bulk bills if you have a health care card. You can claim your medicare rebate electronically at the reception too.

They also have a small pharmacy next to the doctor's suites so it is easy to get scripts filled quickly.

This is a relatively new xray facility in Hobart which bulk bills.
They don't have appointment times so you just turn up and wait. I've been there a few times and never had to wait very long.

They fax the results directly to your doctor so you only need to wait a few minutes to collect the xray itself.
