A quiet little cafe that could easily remain un-noticed but it is most definitely worth stopping in for a snack or lunch. The meals are always fresh, filling and well presented. The store itself isn't large nor is the food preparation area but that doesn't stop the staff providing amazing food. The staff are quick off the mark the drinks always arrive shortly after placing your order and depending on how busy they are and what you order meals dont take much longer either. The prices are always fair

Birchalls is by far the best book store in Launceston for range, how ever as they arent a large chain or an online store the prices are often more than I really want to pay. The store is well laid out and staff are more than happy to help you find what you are looking for. They have the largest range of magazines and newspapers in the Launceston area, the novelty section at the back is also worth a look

You get what you pay for here, they are good quality pub meals nothing more, nothing less. The food is always served hot and most of the time full of flavor, sometimes the vegetables can be a little lacking but I suspect that is because it may have been pre-cooked earlier. The staff are friendly and the dining area is comfortably away from the main bar, although at times you can hear noise filtering through.

The Juice Bar is a fantastic healthier alternative in comparison to other food stores in Morty's. Freshly squeezed juice or smoothies are always a welcome purchase in the summer months. They also offer amazing jacket potatoes and fresh fruit salad. They seem to employe a lot of junior staff members who aren't amazing at speed so often there is a wait but the smoothies are most definitely worth it

Daves Noddles are by far better than the competition, they are cooked fresh to order and jam packed into the boxes. The menu seems to cater for everyone's preferences.Even during busier times staff have managed to not keep me waiting which is important when there is only really pay and display parking

The strawberries here are beyond my expectations, massive fresh and full of flavor nothing like the rubbish you pay for in the supermarket. The fields are laid out well and they are happy for you to sample a few as you pick. The prices are well worth taking the extra time to drive out there. I havent personally sampled the cafe but the meals/snacks others have been eating there look amazing. They are by far a family friendly location with so much room for the kids to play and have fun

Over the years I have frequented here, especially as a teen looking for an after school snack before starting work. The hot food isnt always a fresh as I would like but you know that walking in. The food is affordable and the store is kept clean

Pierres has always been Launceston's iconic fine dining restaurant, many years ago it was my go to place for an amazing affordable meal and pleasant atmosphere but in the past few years the menu has moved to a different selection offering less variety but quality is still amazing but doesnt always meet the preferences of family and friends.

An amazing selection of freshly prepared sweet treats, along with freshly prepared hot meals or salads ready to eat. They have a generous menu range given how small the store is. It is a popular stopping point due to the amazing coffee, sometimes you have to wait a while especially around hospital staff breaks. I have been dining here on and off for many years and the revamped courtyard is extremely pleasant especially in summer time

Conveniently located in Harris scarf it makes a pleasant stop to break up hours of shopping when being dragged from shop to shop. Coffee isn't amazing but for its price it is good, meals are average but you arent being charged a fortune either. They have some great snacks for the kids.
